EXCLUSIVE: Vanderpump Rules' Tom Sandoval reveals his vicious brawl with Jax Taylor was TONED DOWN for TV… and says he will never forgive his former friend

It has been dubbed the most vicious reality TV fight ever but Tom Sandoval says his vicious brawl with Jax Taylor on Monday’s Vanderpump rules was even worse in real life.

The Bravo reality TV star laid into his former friend after discovering Jax, 30, slept with his girlfriend Kristen Doute and while viewers were horrified after Jax was left bleeding, Tom says it could have been far worse.

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Tom - who works alongside Jax at Sur - said: 'It was toned down for TV. I only meant to hit him one time and then I kept going.

'I grew up wrestling and taking taekwondo so when I get into a fight, I am comfortable.

'I could have really hurt him bad – I hit him on the forehead. I could have stomped his face in and hit him in the nose and knocked his teeth out. But I was in control and he knew it. He knew if we went outside I would f**k him up.

'I can hold my own in a fight and with someone like Jax who doesn’t have experience, I'm gonna own him.’

Jax was left bleeding so badly that boss Lisa Vanderpump asked if he needed a plastic surgeon.

However, the fight almost never happened as Tom was determined not to hit Jax, if his friend of over 10 years would only apologise.

'I didn't plan to do that,’ he said. ‘I never would have come after him if he apologised. Everyone expected me to hit him and I hate to do what people expect but he would not say sorry.

'I was more hurt at the coldness of Jax.'

When asked if he and Jax will ever get past this, Tom was adamant their friendship is irrevocably ruined.

'I can never forgive Jax,' he sighed. 'How can you forgive someone who doesn’t care? If he apologises now it means he is doing only doing it to save face.

'This all happened in July and he has had so many chances to say sorry.'

And Tom believes Jax is the biggest loser in this whole debacle.

'Jax is a habitual bridge burner,’ he explained. People have told me about what an a*****e he is and how he has screwed them over.

'I've known Jax for 10 years and I was still close with him. I’ve been there for him more than anyone in his life. I have a lot of friends – I don’t need friends like him. He lost more than I did.'

However, they are 'cordial to each other' as they have to work together in Sur in West Hollywood.

Yet Tom is clearly still hurt and couldn’t resist lashing out at Jax, telling MailOnline: 'I feel like Jax overcompensates in a lot of ways and one of those is taking tons of supplements and working out.

'I feel like it has aged him his workout routine and he looks older than he is.'

And while Tom has been open about his own cheating in the past, he revealed this is not the first time Kristen has been unfaithful to him.

Admitting the truth: Kristen had lied and said she did not cheat on her boyfriend Tom but on Monday's episode came clean saying she slept with Jax once

'This is not the first time she's been unfaithful,' he said. 'She started off our relationship cheating on her ex with me.

'She had a three-month relationship with another guy at Sur while she was with me. I cheated in Vegas because I didn’t want to be in the relationship anymore. It was my way of trying to get out of it.'

Yet he still stood up for her on Monday's show, attending a co-workers' engagement party at their famous boss Lisa Vanderpump's restaurant Sur so she wouldn’t have to face everyone alone.

He said: 'She told me obviously when the cameras weren’t there. It was kinda funny. I really wasn’t that upset. I knew it was true. I accepted it was true, I just wanted her to tell me.

'I felt like it would be selfish for her to not stand up and face the music. I had to stand by her side because nobody else would.

In the moment too – it hadn’t really sank in. I just wanted this s**t to be over. I got put through the wringer last summer that I felt like people were tasteless and selfish. I just wanted to move on.'

The group will once again come face to face at the Reunion Special which will air on Bravo on Monday.

However, things are looking up for the aspiring actor who is currently working on a short film with Vanderpump Rules co-star Peter Madrigal and looking forward to upcoming pilot season in Los Angeles.

The catalyst: After his former girlfriend Stassi Schroeder, pictured, confronted and slapped, fellow Sur restaurant worker Kristen Doute for sleeping with Jax, it was only a matter of time before tensions once again exploded

I'm in the same age-me range as these ppl... I have no idea how they are all ok being waiters & wanna-be actors/models! Once you hit 25 you grow up & get a big boy job, get married & have a kid or two!! What a bunch of losers!

Tom, forgiveness is for you. They say resentment only hurts you. Let go. He made his bed. No one respects his actions and he probably has very deep psychological issues. He'll never have a friend like you and its his loss. Find a good girl (key word: Good aka quality) and focus on your inner peace.
