She is known for wearing a full face of make-up when performing in her many beauty pageants.

But when Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson is off the stage, she is often pictured with her short blonde scraped back, and dressed like a everyday eight-year-old.

On Wednesday however, the young star showed off a new look as she revealed her much longer locks as she arrived at Good Morning America.

Alana showed off a number of over-the-top poses as she waited to go on the show.

Her longer blonde locks looked as though she has had extensions put in.

Showing off with a number of animated poses, it seemed that the youngster was slightly bored with waiting around on set.

The young star dressed brightly for occasion with a pink T-shirt with the slogan 'Be Happy' written across it, and a sparkly waistcoat.

Joining her on set was her mother 'Mama June' who was clutching a can of Mountain Dew.

The soft drink is a known ingredients to the controversial Go-Go Juice, that June was seen giving Alana in an early episode of Toddlers & Tiaras.

However, Mama June has since revealed that she has stopped supplying the drink, and other stimulants - which she once referred to as 'pageant crack'.

After the appearance, Alana was seen wearing her hair back to it's shorter and curlier trademark style.

It has been an eventful time for Alana and her family lately.

Last month, authorities determined that Mike 'Sugar Bear' Thompson was responsible for the January 6th car accident that injured the whole family, according to TMZ.

The Milledgeville Police Department investigators in Georgia made this conclusion as Sugar Bear was one who was driving the family's SUV and made 'an unsafe left turn in front of a truck' when the collision occurred, TMZ reported.

The website has learned that the family - who star in TLC's reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo - later confessed to seeing lights on the other vehicle, which indicates that Sugar Bear should not have made the left turn.

I can't help myself I love this family. It is the anti-reality show really. They appear normal and honest and confident. The exact opposite of the Kardashians.
