Fox just announced that The X Factor USA would be ending after three seasons.

But former judge Kelly Rowland - who survived the dissolution of Destiny's Child - could not have looked happier as she attended Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in New York Friday.

Due to the competition's creator (and father-to-be) Simon Cowell's return to the UK and declining ratings, the network said in a statement: 'There is no X Factor USA without Simon.'

'I'm having such a lovely time attending this year's New York Fashion Week!' she tweeted to her 5.9 million followers.

The four-time Grammy winner - born Kelendria - looked fantastic in her turquoise hoop earrings, black velvet crop-top, maxi skirt, and bootie heels.

Well what a surprise....it's about time. Simon Cowell..Mr. Midas Touch (in his own mind) actually failed. The show was horrible. Let's hope Idol is on its way out too.
