The firm - whom were instrumental in the star sitting down with Rolling Stone - said in a statement: 'Drake is an incredibly talented artist and we're proud of our results for Nothing Was The Same and Would You Like A Tour? We wish him the best.'

The move by the firm comes after Drake - whose real name is Aubrey Graham - said he was 'disgusted' Rolling Stone had taken him off the cover and claimed they used off the record quotes about Kanye West.

He tweeted: 'I never commented on Yeezus for my interview portion of Rolling Stone. They also my cover from me last minute and ran the issue.

'I'm disgusted with that. RIP to Philip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil.'

He later deleted the tweets but posted an additional one as an attempt to apologise.

'I'm done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That's the only way my message gets across accurately.'

According to the New York Post this was the final straw for ID as Drake - who is currently on tour in Sweden - has a history of being difficult during interviews.

The Post also points the finger at this his management team, composed of 'cronies from his hometown of Toronto who call themselves October’s Very Own'.

A source told the Post: 'It’s a shame that someone with so much talent is surrounded by kids who are burning bridges left and right.'

The newspaper also reports that the rapper left on bad terms with another agency.

'We also hear Drake had an ugly split with another firm, The Chamber Group, after he got into a screaming match with a female publicist and ordered her out an elevator they were riding in at New York’s London/NYC Hotel.'

A self centered, self aggrandizing, self important twit. Philip Seymour Hoffman was an artist. Drake is a talentless hack.

Sorry, I side with Drake in this. Hoffman was no hero. He threw his life away. It was Drakes cover.

Drake needs the management team that Jay-Z has. Jay-Z never puts a foot wrong.

And this is supposed to be Rihanna's best choice in men? Give me a break! What a damn whiner. There are more talented rappers out there than this guy. I mean, to me he's still Jimmy from Degrassi ;) He's disrespectful and such a child.

Idiot. These "rappers" are so far up their own butts, they just come across as arrogant and talentless... Unlike the late great PSH, rest his soul.
