It's a dirty job... but someone's got to do it! Rihanna's aide looks under her dress to check her suspenders

She's been hitting headlines left, right and centre during her time in Paris for Fashion Week.

And Rihanna has caused controversy once again by posting a picture on her Instagram page which appeared to show one of her aides lifting up her dress to sneak a peek at her derriere.

The shot was posted ahead of Rihanna's appearance at the Dior show in Paris earlier this week, when she arrived wearing a black dress, stocking and suspenders with a red fur coat.

But upon closer inspection of the preparatory Instagram shot, it appears that the aide is actually simply checking that Rihanna's suspenders were properly secured - to avoid any embarrassing mishaps while posing for photographers outside the catwalk show.

Rihanna's Instagram post came ahead of her heading to Montaigne's Market store in the French capital on Tuesday night, covering up in a patterned jumper and jeans.

The 26-year-old singer looked as chic as ever in her ensemble, but cut a more casual figure as she paired the top and denims with flat shoes and a loose white T-shirt.

Rihanna has certainly had a busy time while in Paris, with rarely an hour going by that she hasn't been at a different runway show.

On Tuesday, Rihanna supported her close friend Cara Delevingne by attending the Chanel show

The singer toughened up the demure purple two-piece she was wearing with a matching  bumbag that featured a figurine of a silver gun.

The boucle ensemble created an hourglass effect as it featured a tight section around the singer’s waist, with what appeared to be a crop top over it.

In keeping with the somewhat sporty feel of her bumbag, the star wore a pair of matching trainers.

Looking a far cry from the mean and moody persona she has been oozing through fashion week so far, the Diamonds singer looked delightful.

Her sharp long bob looked healthy and full of volume and she wore a pair of Fifites cat-eye shaped sunglasses.

Accessorising the look she wore a bangle with large pearl like baubles around her wrist.
