Don't make me go in there! Nicky Hilton's pug looks terrified after the heiress buys her a menacing shark pet bed

You wouldn’t usually want your pet anywhere near a shark.

But heiress Nicky Hilton and her banker boyfriend James Rothschild chose to do the opposite as they walked their pug around New York while carrying a comical shark-like pet bed on Wednesday.

However, the poor pooch seemed reluctant to get into the bed and instead trotted on ahead as the menacing shark was carried behind it.

Nicky, 30, and her British boyfriend had been trying to hail a cab to get out of the freezing cold, but soon gave up and decided to get a car service instead.

Nicky nailed the casual look with blue skinny jeans, a black jumper and a leather jacket with a fur collar.

She kept the cold at bay further with a cosy grey scarf, but kept her manicure in full view rather than wearing gloves.

With her blonde locks flowing loosely around her shoulders, Nicky finished the look with a pair of sunglasses.

Nicky strolled alongside James – who she has been dating since 2012 after they met at Petra Ecclestone’s wedding in Italy – leaving him to carry the pet carrier and unusual pet bed.

The former Etonian was dressed in a similar casual ensemble wearing a black fur lined Moncler jacket atop black skinny jeans and soft blue loafers.

He also sported sunglasses, while his highlighted locks were slicked back.
