Heavily pregnant Tamara Ecclestone wears blue mini dress and vertiginous heels for date night with husband Jay Rutland

She's expecting her first child in the coming weeks and Tamara Ecclestone looked incredible as she enjoyed a date night with her husband Jay Rutland, 31, on Thursday night.

The expectant parents looked loved-up as they headed to Roka restaurant in London, which specialises in contemporary Japanese robatayaki cuisine.

The pair placed their arms around each other protectively as they posed for photographers outside the venue.

Despite being heavily pregnant,  29-year-old Tamara wowed in a cobalt blue mini skater dress which showed off her tanned figure.

The mum-to-be didn't have a coat on and her dress was sleeveless, with her preferring to keep her beau close by for body warmth.

She was also still rocking her beloved sky-high heels, opting for a pair of black stilettos which she matched with a little tasselled clutch bag.

Before heading out, Tamara tweeted a picture of her range of beauty products, which are called Show and wrote: 'Getting ready for date night #show beauty.'

The heiress told Hello! magazine that she's been lucky she hasn't had to adapt her wardrobe too much as her pregnancy has gone on.

She said: 'I haven't bought any maternity clothes - I just wear my stretchy garments or buy the next size up. 'I've been lucky because I've not grown that big. All my rings still fit and I can wear my heels.'

She said her father Bernie Ecclestone, the F1 supremo, was among the first people to be told a baby was on the way.

'Dad said 'of course, another girl in the family - more handbags'. He loves kids,' Ecclestone added.

'It might sound crazy, but I feel in tune with my baby and talk to her all the time. I know she can hear me, so she'll definitely recognise my voice when she's born.'
