But Ashley Tisdale added a rock chick dimension to her girlie image as she stepped out in Los Angeles on Tuesday.

Transforming her look from prim to punky, the 28-year-old actress looked effortlessly stylish in a pair of slashed turn-up jeans as she headed out for a spot of lunch.

Ashley added a contrast to the rock chick-inspired look by keeping the rest of her ensemble feminine and elegant in a crisp white tee and rocked this season's shoulder-robing trend with an oversized grey blazer.

Completing her low-key daytime outfit with a series of chic accessories, the striking star adorned her decolletage with an eye-catching statement necklace, while flashing a blingy gold watch and toting her belongings in a large nude and black leather handbag.

The actress has leant her voice to a number of projects in recent months, after having voiced the character Candace in animated TV series Phineas And Ferb for the past seven years and also taking on the title role of Sabrina Spellman in Sabrina: Secrets Of A Teenage Witch.

Next up, she will be reunited with best friend and High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens, as well as Pretty Little Liars' Ashley Benson on the big screen in The Great Migration.

Meanwhile, Ashley is planning her upcoming wedding to fiancé Christopher French after the musician popped the question back in August.

Speaking of her impending nuptials, which are expected to take place later this year, she told E! News: 'I have a wedding planner so that's a lot easier.

'I'm definitely a perfectionist, so I'm definitely involved with certain things that you'd think I'd be relaxed on. I just want it to be perfect.'
