Her final hours of pregnancy: Teresa Palmer looks radiant in photos taken the morning before giving birth to son Bodhi
|
They say expectant mothers radiate a natural glow and Teresa Palmer wore hers with undeniable grace in a beautiful photo shoot taken the morning before she went into labour.
The 28-year-old actress went largely makeup free for the series of photos, in which she bares the full extent of her burgeoning belly.
The new mother has never been shy about her love of an organic and environmentally friendly lifestyle and looked completely at ease as she posed amongst the plants of her Los Angeles garden.
Full-term: Teresa Palmer posed for a stunning photo shoot just one day before giving birth to her first child Bodhi Rain
Radiant: The 28-year-old actress wore her pregnancy glow with undeniable grace in the frames
'She completely satisfied that cliche of "glowing mum to be",' wrote fellow actress and the shoot's photographer Gemma Pranita, alongside the published photos.
'Tez was calm and radiant with an inner peace I'd never seen in her before. She wore pregnancy beautifully and naturally.'
It is clear from the frames that Teresa and husband Mark Webber had already decided the baby's name, the expectant parents covering a wall in chalk written well-wishes to their unborn child.
In one of the snaps, the stunning blonde poses in a white cotton dress as she lounges in a simple rocking chair, while in another she cradles her bare belly wearing only knitted, cream-coloured scarf.
House of love: The Australian star posed in front of a chalkboard full of well-wishes to her unborn child
Au Naturel: The stunning blonde wore a minimal amount of makeup and laid bare her blossoming belly, wearing nothing but a knitted, cream-coloured scarf
True to her roots: The Warm Bodies star was shot by Thai-born Australian actress Gemma Pranita
Just two-and-a-half weeks after welcoming her new bundle of joy, the Warm Bodies star once again shed her layers, this time to bare her toned tummy.
Wearing nothing but a sports bra and exercise pants while out hiking with her new family, the Australian actress appeared relaxed as she let her director husband take charge of baby Bodhi.
With the newborn strapped tightly to his chest, Mark, 33, kept a stern eye on the couple's Staffordshire Bull Terrier who looked inquisitively on.
'A dad, his boy and his dog #babywearing #attachmentparenting,' wrote Teresa, who captured the moment on film.
Love: Teresa wore a delicate ruched blouse patterned with roses and formed a heart over her bare belly
Back to nature: The actress has never been shy about her love of an organic and environmentally friendly lifestyle
The new parents have been eagerly sharing glimpses of their domestic bliss on Instagram with The Ever After actor and director posting a shot of his wife breastfeeding on Tuesday.
A day earlier Teresa published an image of her newborn in her mother's arms, revealing in a touching tribute that Bodhi's nan is currently living at their Los Angeles home.
'Thank you mama for all that you do and have done for me, only now as a mum can I truly understand the depths of that.' she wrote.
'Bodhi loves his Nanna so much. You've been the most incredible support I'm so glad you're here living with us. We love you so much @likemark'.
That was quick! The new mother debuted her taut tummy on Wednesday, just two and a half weeks after giving birth
Father and son: Her director husband Mark Webber took charge of their tiny bundle of joy, holding him tight to his chest as their Staffordshire Bull Terrier looked on
She also recently celebrated her 28th birthday, relaxing with a private family gathering at home.
Clearly enjoying this special time of her life, she wrote on Instagram: 'The first birthday that I am a Mum, a wife and a stepmum. I love my 3 boys so much @likemark.'
And it's not just her personal life that's on a high, she's on a professional roll, too.
After her starring role in 2013's Warm Bodies, which grossed over $100 million, she is set to feature in Parts per Billion, The Ever After and Cut Bank this year, the latter of which also stars Liam Hemsworth and John Malkovich.
Proud father: The new parents have been eagerly sharing glimpses of their domestic bliss, with Mark posting a photo of his wife and son on Wednesday
Nan's touch: The stunning blonde shared a photo of her new bundle of joy in her mother's arms, gushing about how grateful she is for her mother's love and support

"Bodhi". Sick to death with these overrated /overpaid humans giving their babies crappy names. Don't they understand the amount of bullying that this child will endure. Jezza
