Sometimes the best part about being in love is just doing the everyday. 

Laura Vandervoort and her new fiancé Oliver Trevena were seen getting into the groove of what will be married life as they ran errands together in Los Angeles on Wednesday.

The 29-year-old actress and the 32-year-old TV personality kicked off the day with a morning workout, picked up smoothies afterwards, and then took their dog for a stroll.

The Smallville star showed off her very slender physique in skin tight leggings, teamed with a long sleeved black shirt over a blue top.

A large black gym bag, brightly coloured sneakers, and a pair of aviator sunglasses completed the look.

Her beau showed off his toned upper body and tattoos in a long sleeved white shirt, teamed with sleek black gym pants, and sneakers.

The Ted star stepped out with a not-so-small rock on her wedding finger during a pre-Oscar party last Tuesday.

On Friday, UsWeekly reported the diamond was indeed an engagement ring and her boyfriend Oliver Trevena had proposed almost two months earlier on New Year's Eve while they were on vacation in England.

A rep for Laura told MailOnline, 'Yes, she is engaged.'

'The couple was visiting a castle in England and it was a really romantic setting,' a friend told Us.

'Oliver told Laura to close her eyes at 11:11 a.m., which is an important number and time for her.

'When she opened her eyes he was down on one knee.'

The Bitten actress was 'totally surprised' by the proposal.

The insider added: 'He gave her a vintage diamond ring.

'She's over the moon and so happy.'

The blonde beauty has been dating the British actor - who has appeared on the TV shows The Forgotten and Leverage - for less than a year.

Oliver was romantically linked to Carrie Underwood in 2007.
