His realtor, Paul Anand from the Corcon Group, told the WSJ that Stone purchased the home for $2.2 million in 2010, while he was shooting Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps.

The Platoon director's primary home is in LA's Mandeville Canyon, reports RadarOnline, that at 6,500 square feet is nearly four times the size of his New York apartment.

Stone used the Manhattan apartment for when he was in New York, Anand told the WSJ.

Stone is selling the property because he needs 'more space,' Anand told the publicatio. 'He's looking for over 2,000 square feet.'

The building looks more like an office block than an upmarket apartment block. The red, white and blue is over the top and garish.
