He has got the top job in TV talk shows, and it's clear that Jimmy Fallon is living his dream.

And for some, getting the opportunity to pour cold water on wild actress Lindsay Lohan might count as a career high too.

Jimmy brought over his popular segment Water War from his Late Night show, and didn’t hold back with the Mean Girls star.

Super soaked: Lindsay Lohan got drenched during a water fight on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday

Lindsay and Jimmy had to turn over cards and whoever won the hand got to throw a glass of water over their opponent.

The 27-year-old and 39-year-old both ended up suitably drenched, but Lindsay was the one who won the game.

That meant she got to get revenge on the host with a giant super soaker, but not before pouring water all over Jimmy's crotch.

It's only a game show: Jimmy brought over his game Water War from his Late Night show, and Lindsay was happy to play

Lindsay was giggling with glee as she shot it straight into Jimmy’s face, before the pair posed for selfies together.

The former child star had looked gorgeous before the water fight, which she tied her red locks up for.

Lindsay wore a white knit dress with some sparkly thread in it, which had a cute collar and necktie detail.

Lindsay showed off her slender legs in the frock, which was nipped in at her waist with a thin brown belt.

She teamed it with cream pumps and gold hoop earrings, as well as gold and silver and black string bracelets.

Lindsay went for a natural look with her make-up, standing out with smoky eyes and strong brows.

The star was promoting her reality show Lindsay which will premiere on Oprah Winfrey’s network OWN on Sunday.

She admitted she is concerned about the show, explaining the timing wouldn't show her at her best as she said: 'They picked the first two months when I got back to New York after treatment and I got really spiritual.'

Lindsay revealed that her troubled days are 'the past' and said: 'I feel really lucky to have been able to work with someone like Oprah.

Showing some skin: The fiery redhead displayed her bare legs in the frock which was nipped in at her waist with a thin brown belt

'She gives me wonderful advice and she’s become a really strong person for me to listen to and learn from.'

Things are definitely looking up for the former wild child, who revealed she is appearing in 2 Broke Girls and starting work on the movie Inconceivable next month.

Mean Girls fans will also be happy to hear that Lindsay revealed: 'When I saw Tina [Fey] backstage she mentioned maybe doing some sort of reunion,' adding that 'it would be amazing.'

She later headed to the airport in a black leather jacket and matching thigh-high boots, a black T-shirt and leggings and a grey miniskirt and beanie.

In great spirits: Lindsay looked excited for the evening ahead as she made her way to the New York studios (R) and then to the airport after the show

Sealed with a kiss: Lindsay, who had a thin band on her ring finger, blew kisses and posed for pictures with fans waiting to greet her

Sister sister: It seems Lindsay is going to be joined on her trip to LA by sibling Ali, who was seen leaving their apartment with a large bag that same evening

Star studded: Liam Neeson appeared on the show that evening too to promote his new movie Non-Stop

I think Lindsey's shelf life has expired. It was almost desperate of her when she kept using Oprah in almost every sentence. What will she do when her reality "documentary" ends. Does she think Oprah is going to be her new mom(hell of an improvement compared to Dina Lohan)? I thinks she's really damaged her credibility as an actress.
