They were once one of pop music's most beautiful couples, with public declarations of love and renewed wedding vows.

But model Heidi Klum and singer Seal, real name Seal Henry Samuel, are clearly still on good terms - despite divorcing after seven years of marriage.

The pair were seen meeting up at the Heritage Auction house in Beverly Hills, California, on Tuesday were they spent time with Klum’s daughter, Leni, from her previous relationship with Italian businessman Flavio Briatore.

Embracing in a brief goodbye, the couple - who have three children together - seem to enjoy a cordial meeting, giving hugs and kisses as they went their separate ways.

Dressed in an all-black ensemble which consisted of a cardigan with a crucifix on the back, the model looked stylish in leather boots and over-sized sunglasses.

Meanwhile, Seal kept it casual with a pair of fresh Converse trainers, roll-up jeans and a military jacket over a grey T-shirt.

But onlookers could be forgiven for being surprised by such a friendly exchange.

The meeting comes just two days after photos emerged of Heidi and her rumoured new man Vito Schnabel enjoying a steamy kiss at an Oscars party on Sunday.

Standing on a packed dancefloor of 10AK nightclub, the snaps show the supermodel, 40, leaning into the 27-year-old with her hands placed on either side of his face.

At one point, they appear distracted however remain standing closely together while Heidi places her arm affectionately around his neck while her companion's hand remains on her lower back.

It seems as though Heidi and Vito aren't quite ready to make their couple debut judging by their behaviour after the star-studded bash.

Doing their utmost to go unnoticed, Heidi headed to her waiting car before Vito made his way to the other side of the vehicle as they headed home.

Heidi looked stunning at the party, showing off her figure in a strapless, fitted, black beaded gown and elegant up 'do.

And Vito - who seems to have thing for cougars as he has previously been romantically linked to Demi Moore, 51, and Elle Macpherson, 49 - had also dressed up for the occasion, wearing what appeared to be a black suit and tie.

The couple first set tongues wagging when they were reportedly seen leaving Hollywood hotspot Bootsy Bellows together earlier this month.

While the pair weren't snapped together, an onlooker said they were 'making out' inside the David Arquette-owned nightclub.

Demi and Vito were an item for several weeks in 2012, before he allegedly dumped her when they met up at the Art Basel event in Miami.

Elle was with the young New Yorker just before that.

Meanwhile, Heidi has only recently become single again, having split from Martin Kristen in January after more than a year of dating.

A friend of Heidi's told People magazine: 'Martin was there for her during a challenging time in her life and it was something she will always be grateful for.

Heidi is gross. She has always bounced from man to man with overlap and no break at all. She was married to her hairstylist Ric, about 25-30 years older than her, then hooked up with billionaire Flavio Briatore and got knocked up. While she was knocked up with Flavio's baby, she starting dating Seal. Then she dumped Seal because she was dating their bodyguard. Dumped the body guard for a new guy, but still kiissing Seal inbetween.

Heidi seems like she is on a desperate quest to be seen as young and hot. It seems to me like a lot of models and actresses go through this when they start getting older...Demi Moore was a perfect example! Heidi is always taking half-naked selfies, wearing dresses that are either super low or with a split up the front or both and running around with different younger guys. It's like a classic midlife crisis. I always thought her and Seal were perfect for each other, but I wouldn't be surprised if he didn't even want her back anymore. She has changed a lot.
