She may have just finished at the gym, but Hilary Duff was getting another workout carrying her son.

The 26-year-old was photographed with her boy Luca at Fred Segal in Los Angeles on Friday.

Duff's one-year-old appeared to already be half of his mother's height - a pint-sized 5ft2 - as he wriggled in her arms.

Luca appeared to be growing at a rapid rate, clearly taking after his father, retired hockey player Mike Comrie, 33.

The Canadian-born athlete stands at a relatively average 5'10", but his hearty build is reflected in young Luca.

The Hilary Duff actress shared a photo of her rapidly growing son on her Instagram on Monday with the caption, '<3 melts Mikey gets photo cred for this one ;)'.

Nevertheless, Duff appeared to be all smiles as she was captured during her quick shopping excursion.

The Raise Your Voice actress appeared to have just finished working out in her comfortable apparel.

Duff kept her outfit casual in a pair of tight grey yoga pants that showed off the results of her work-outs.

The former Disney star was all smiles as she chatted away on her phone, neverminding her on-going spilt from first husband Mike Comrie.
