Apparently, he makes his own rules when it comes to menswear for motorcycles.

And though many celebs opt to go incognito, Steven Tyler was sure to not be missed as he hopped on his bike in front of Gjelina restaurant in Venice on Saturday.

The 65-year-old musician sported a ridiculous pair of goggles before protecting his head with a studded and embossed helmet that fit cosily over his ponytail.

Known for his hippie style, the scruffy-faced Aerosmith frontman also donned flared jeans that were decorated with a colourful print running down the font of each leg.

He teamed his bold pieces with a lightweight white button-down blouse, black leather jacket, studded brown leather belt, and black boots.

Because one can never have too much going on, Steven topped off his look with layered rings and necklaces.

Though he undoubtedly wanted to be seen on Saturday, the American Idol judge still prefers his privacy when on holiday.

Last year, Tyler attempted to pass a celebrity privacy bill in Hawaii, aptly named The Steven Tyler Act.

The bill allow public figures the right to sue anyone that took a photo or video of them while in private moments; the bill eventually was shot down in the Senate due to late deadlines, the New York Times reports.

Recently, Tyler has also been making headlines for his interest in art.

The singer-songwriter donated $2,600 worth of art supplies to North Graham Elementary School in North Carolina.

Tyler used money that was raised from the sale of a photo of him riding a Harley Davidson over the paparazzi, the Piedmont News Station reports.
