Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez got steamy together after their breakfast and coffee date in Texas on Friday, but not in the way you might think.

The duo, who reunited in McAllen in Hidalgo County, Texas ahead of Selena's concert there on Saturday night, participated in a private dance session with a choreographer.

The Come And Get It singer and her on/off boyfriend spent two hours at Action Dance Studio, with security standing by outside and the door covered in a plastic mat, according to TMZ.

They seemed ‘really close and into each other,’ said the owner.

The purpose of their visit is unclear.

Justin, 20, and Selena, 21, apparently did not pay a nickel to the dance studio.

Earlier in the day, while the duo tried to maintain a low profile, they were spotted by eagle eyed fans who posted pictures to Twitter, as they grabbed breakfast together at Don Pepe's before hitting up a Starbucks later in the afternoon.

And although Selena didn't reference Justin, she posted a picture of herself at Starbucks along with a message to her fans.

She wrote: 'Hidalgo, I've missed this :) ill see you soooon (sic).'

The Instagram shot shows her wearing sunglasses and a leather jacket, with her hair loose around her shoulders.

She is looking into the camera with a beverage in front of her.

The Don Pepe's restaurant owner told E! News that they did not want to pose for any photographs as Selena enjoyed a meal of pork chops with salsa, while Justin ate Huevos Rancheros.

E! adds that they were seen hugging at flower shop LA Imports while TMZ reports they were spotted shopping at Perfumeria La Versailles where Justin bought Obsession by CK and Pour Homme by Givenchy.

This reconciliation comes just one day after Justin stormed out of his deposition hearing in Miami after being quizzed over Selena.

He was called to the sunshine state's city for a formal hearing on Thursday regarding a lawsuit that claims he instructed his bodyguards to confront a photographer who was then assaulted.

But events reached breaking point when he was repeatedly questioned by a lawyer about his relationship with the brunette actress.

According to celebrity website TMZ, the lawyer interrogating Bieber started asking if Selena was present during any incident involving fights with photographers.

Bieber's lawyer, Howard Weitzman, objected - considering the question a deliberate attempt to provoke a response from the star - but he persisted.

In protest, Justin and his representative left the courtroom with the pop star shouting: 'Don't ask me about her, do not ask me about her!'

TMZ reported that the pair later returned to complete the four-and-a-half hour deposition, but that relations remained tense.

In a series of barbed responses Bieber allegedly said: 'What is this, 60 Minutes?' and later: 'OK Katie Couric, what's your question again?'

The Believe hitmaker is being sued by Jeffrey Binion, who claims one of the star's minders choked him and stole his camera equipment in June 2013, and is to be quizzed by the paparazzo's lawyer next week in a videotaped session.

It has been claimed Justin ordered his bodyguard to seize Jeffrey's memory card after he tried to snap a candid picture of the teen heartthrob leaving a recording studio.

Binion is suing both the pop star and his bodyguard, saying he suffered bodily injury, pain and suffering, mental anguish and incurred medical expenses following the incident.

Meanwhile, it was evident on Monday that Justin still had Selena on his mind.

The day after the Academy Awards, the Boyfriend singer posted two photos of the Wizards Of Waverly Place actress in her revealing gold gown that she showed off at the post-Oscars Vanity Fair party.

The gushy note came as a bit of a surprise after the couple reportedly had a bad falling out earlier this year.

Prior to their Texas reunion, they were last seen together in January riding Segways. The two had also posted an Instagram photo where they were in an embrace at about the same time.

Bieber did not attend the Oscars and it's believed he was in Atlanta, Georgia on Sunday evening.

The star has been residing in that city for the past several weeks, and even spent his 20th birthday there on Saturday.

I see no reason to give them negativity. It's their choice and life if they want to get back together, and what business is it of ours? I respect Selena as a person, and, contrary to popular opinion, think she's talented in music. I saw her on her tour, she was great.
