Some celebrities never seem to age, and that seems to be the case with actor Ethan Hawke.

The 43-year-old looked youthful and energetic as he arrived to the premiere of his movie Boyhood at the SXSW Music, Film and Interactive Festival in Austin, Texas on Sunday.

Ethan posed for pictures in the green room with some of the cast members from the film, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and is scheduled to be released in theaters later this year.

The youthful actor, who is currently shooting Good Kill in Albuquerque, New Mexico with January Jones, took pictures with actress Lorelei Linklater, actor Ellar Coltrane and director Richard Linklater.

Ethan, who has been married to Ryan Hawke for five years, looked handsome and classy in a grey suit, tie and white button-down shirt but his trendy crew cut made him appear 10 years younger than his age.

Boyhood, which also stars Patricia Arquette,  is a coming-of-age drama which was shot over a 12-year period.

The story follows a boy as he grows from childhood into adulthood and examines the relationship between his divorced parents, played by Ethan and Patricia, as they try to raise him.

One day earlier, Ethan hit the red carpet again with Richard, this time for the world premiere of another film Predestination, a time-travel thriller.

Ethan plays a temporal agent on his final job trying to catch the one criminal that has always eluded him.

The film is based on Robert Heinlein's 1958 short story All You Zombies and teams Ethan with his Daybreakers writers and directors Peter and Michael Spierig.

'This is one of our favourite short stories,' the brothers told Empireonline.com in 2012.

'It's truly original, and unlike anything you've ever read before. It's the mother of all time paradox tales.'

Ethan also stars in the modern day telling of Cymbeline, based on the play written by William Shakespeare.

It also features Milla Jovovich as the Queen of Britian and 24-year-old Anton Yelchin as Clotus.

The movie is due out this year.
