Shakira's boyfriend doesn't allow her to make music videos with sexy men.

The Colombian singer recently released a raunchy clip with Rihanna for their duet Can't Remember to Forget You and says they weren't allowed to be draped over any hunks in it at the behest of her partner, soccer star Gerard Piqué.

She told Billboard magazine: 'He's very territorial, and since he no longer lets me do videos with men, well, I have to do them with women.

'It's more than implied in our relationship that I can't do videos like I used to. It's out of the question - which I like, by the way.'

The 37-year-old star joked that her beau likes to 'protect his turf' to the extent that he is only comfortable with the likes of Rihanna, 26, performing routines with her.

Shakira added: 'I like that he protects his turf and he values me, in a way that the only person he would ever let graze my thigh would be Rihanna.'

The Hips Don't Like hitmaker - who has 15-month-old son Milan, with Gerard - has previously admitted she enjoyed getting close to her female co-star when they were shooting the video.

She said: 'She's the sexiest woman on the planet. The chemistry was so good and so real. She taught me dance moves. She was a sweet teacher.'

The rather racy video saw the pair appear in a series of skimpy outfits, before writhing around in a naked embrace.

Shakira previously explained the reasons for choosing Rihanna as he co-star: 'This song Can't Remember To Forget You combines both the reggae and the rock spirit.

'That's why I thought that Rihanna was perfect and thought that she was the other half for this.'

While Shakira has been dating Pique since 2011, Rihanna is rumoured to have recently reunited with her former flame, Canadian rapper Drake.

To be honest, if I was on the city bus and Shakira walked on and sat down directly across from me, I would not know who she was. It's the same thing with Brittany Spears. So famous and homoginized, they become faceless.

WHY is it when a guy wants his woman to be his. Women then say 'oh he must be insecure' No wonder most of you are single. I've been with my girlfriend for 4 years and she's MINE! She knows what she is and isn't allowed to do and the same applies to me.
