Ooh la la! Kylie Minogue lies down on a bed to show off the pouty artwork for her latest album Kiss Me Once

When it comes to promoting her music career she certainly knows how to cause a stir.
And with Kylie Minogue’s 12th studio album Kiss Me Once just around the corner, the diminutive Aussie superstar opted to publicise the record's online streaming a week ahead of its release by lying on a bed holding up a copy of the striking vinyl cover.
The singer, 45, tweeted the cheeky shot along with the caption ‘Lie Down’ along with a close up of the artwork on her Instagram account, much to the delight of her loyal fans.
Album covered: Diminutive Kylie Minogue lies on a bed, almost completely obscurred by the LP version of the cover art to her new album Kiss Me Once - out on March 18
Any format you like: Kylie also took a photo of the LP and CD versions of the artwork, as well as a hand-written card of the title
The cover shows the pretty singer in stunning make-up, pouting with her eyes closed behind rain-speckled glass.
She turned heads recently with the shoot for the album’s first single Into The Blue, which showed her writhing in a mermaid-esque pose wearing a backless gold net dress.
The shot was particularly reminiscent of her gold hotpants days in 2000 for the track Spinning Around, and sent out a clear message that - despite hitting her mid-forties - she has no intention of covering up just yet.
Earlier this year she joked about her famous tiny shorts saying: ‘I keep saying the hotpants are retired but they keep coming back!’
Keeping everyone abreast of the news: Kylie posted a picture of herself online, with the date, time and place of the photo once again obscuring her face
Hectic schedule: In between recording and promoting her new album, Kylie has been starring as a judge on The Voice UK, with (from left) Ricky Wilson, Sir Tom Jones and will.i.am
In between her hectic shooting schedule Down Under, for Nine Network’s The Voice Australia - in which she has joined will.i.am, Joel Madden and Ricky Martin on the judging panel - she also managed to squeeze in a secret show at The Beresford Hotel pub in Sydney last month where she performed Into The Blue.
The singer’s latest LP was her first collection recorded under Jay Z’s Roc Nation management, which has seen her team up with the likes of Pharrell Williams on a track called I Was Gonna Cancel.
The record, which also contains collaborations with Sia, MNEK and Stargate, includes racy song titles like Les Sex and Sexercise.
The album will be officially released on March 18.
