One is the fifth in line to the throne and the other is a smouldering Hollywood film star as well known for his good looks as his acting credentials.

But while one would think Prince Andrew and George Clooney have little in common, it emerged last month that the 54-year-old Royal has developed a close friendship with the actor's Croatian model ex.

Rumours have been growing ever since that Prince Andrew is in a romantic relationship with Monika Jakisic, who at 34 is 20 years his junior.

Ms Jakistic, a 5ft 10 tall model who refers to herself as the 'Croatian sensation', was in an on-off relationship with Clooney, 52, from 2004 until last year.

Although one might wonder why the stunning model who once dated one of the world's most eligible bachelors is now is involved with divorced father-of-two Prince Andrew, it appears the two men are far more alike than previously thought.
