Bruce Jenner reveals puckered jawline as a combination of ageing and botched plastic surgery take their toll

He has been open about his botched plastic surgery in the past and sadly it appears to have taken its toll on Bruce Jenner. 

The 64-year-old former Olympian made a caffeine stop at Starbucks on his way home from a golf outing in Westlake, California on Sunday where what looked like a combination of ageing and his surgeries combined to give his skin a puckered look along his jawline.  

Bruce had a botched nose job and facelift in the Eighties and in 2009 had further surgery to correct it but judging from the latest pictures of him over the weekend, it wasn't entirely successful.

Bruce pulled his long hair back into a ponytail for his golf outing, and wore a baseball cap. 

He was dressed in a striped shirt, slacks and comfortable shoes for his day on the golf course and appeared content as he sipped his coffee.

Sadly Bruce's appearance has often been the subject of ridicule, with his botched surgery receiving more attention that his past glory as an athlete, which once saw him win gold in the decathlon at the 1976 Olympics.

Kim Kardashian previously revealed her own account of how her step father began his quest to alter his looks.

Kim, 33 - who herself has been the subject of surgery rumours - revealed Bruce's surgery history in a personal blog she wrote back in 2009.

'Twenty five years ago, Bruce was ill-advised by a doctor to have a partial facelift and a nose job,' Kim wrote.

Adding: 'Unfortunately, the result wasn’t what Bruce had hoped for and for years since then he has been the victim of cruel taunts from the media.'

In May 2009 on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Bruce underwent further surgery to correct the original botched procedure.

Clearly a cheerleader for the surgery, Kim gushed afterwards: 'The results are amazing! Bruce looks better than ever and he is extremely happy with the result.'

At the time, Bruce explained to Access Hollywood that he 'was just going through a bad time' when he decided in the Eighties cosmetic surgery might be the right solution.

'I had just gone through my second divorce, lost a lot of money. I was in a little dinky house,' he continued.
The star also admitted he kept the latter surgery a secret for some time - and appeared happy with the result.

Following the split from Kris after 22-years of marriage, Bruce began wearing his hair in a ponytail, in yet another drastic image change from the star. 

TMZ has reported that Bruce is planning, a laryngeal shave, a procedure usually for patients who are in the initial stages of gender reassignment.

The former athlete has also received jibes over the years for the excessive amount of eyebrow tweezing, that have reshaped his brows to a more feminine appearance. 

And Bruce's changing face is clearly a sensitive subject for the star, too.

During the 2012 Olympics, Bruce fell out with talk show host Jimmy Fallon when he poked fun at the plastic procedures he's had done over the years. 

In June 2013, Bruce was once again quizzed by Jimmy on his talk show about exactly what he has had done.
'I'm not trying to hide anything,' Bruce pledged, adding: 'I am from the Kardashian group. We can take anything.'

But Bruce once said in an episode of KUWTK: 'If you Google my name, the worst plastic surgeries of all time, or whatever it is... They’ve compared me to Michael Jackson.'

I actually feel sorry for Bruce, regardless of whether he has done this to himself, I just get the impression that he has had it with 'fame' and it is just trying to live his life under the radar yet here we are with yet another article making fun of his appearance. Personally I think he looks a lot happier and healthier here than he has for a long time.
