It was the one of the most romantic days of their lives.

But there was nothing romantic about the military planning that went into Kanye West's proposal to Kim Kardashian, new court documents reveal.

For while the show-stopping moment at a baseball stadium may have been Kanye's idea, behind the scenes his soon to be mother-in-law Kris Jenner was 'running the event'.

In new documents, as posted online at Radar.com, Kris boasts: 'I played a major role in organizing and running the event.

'As part of this I was directly involved in formulating and was familiar with the guest list.'

The revelation comes as Kim and Kanye take legal action against an univited guest who posted footage of the proposal online.

They claim YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley illegally leaked a video of the proposal, for which they had sold the exclusive rights.

The footage was widely picked up by the media, months before the proposal was shown on Kim's reality show.

In Kim's declaration to the court, Radar reveals, she talks about the 'financial value' of the video footage.

'The rights to broadcast the event were sold on an exclusive basis,' she explains. 'Such rights (including future rights) are (and will be) of diminished value if others preempt the official, contractually authorized broadcast or other publication rights that Kanye West or I own with their own, earlier unauthorized publication or broadcast.'

The couple's proposal formed the basis of an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians which was shown earlier this year.

Kanye popped the question back in October in front of a small number of invited guests on Kim's 33rd birthday in San Francisco, backed by a 50-piece orchestra.

Kris' declaration makes clear that Hurley was not amongst the guests.

Sher explains: 'M. Hurley was not invited by the organizers of the event... Kim and Kanye did not know him. We would not have been upset in the least if he had to leave — or never even attended in the first place — and he had not earned the trust of Kim, Kanye, or me.'

Following the submissions by the Kardashian family, a judge will review the case on March 18 to see if it should be allowed to go to trial.

This is a stupid article. Kanye planned it and of course people helped him including Kris, the orchestra, the caterers, event planners. He wouldn't be able to do it by himself but he was heavily involved. He's talked about this in depth. You want to twist everything. Stop quoting Radar

Exactly WHO would this be news? Everyone knows that everything a Kardashian/Jenner now West does is calculated for the most press ever and everyone involved know their part and what the drill is. What in god's name will it take for this horrid family's fans to figure out that it is all fake? I despise these horrid ugly people more and more every day but really feel so sorry for all the people they continue to fool. These are not good people, never have been, never will be. I can't wait for their eventual fall from everything.
