Ariel Winter says she doesn't believe relations with her estranged family can be fixed.

In a text obtained by TMZ, the 16-year-old - who is under the temporary guardianship of older sister Shanelle Gray after accusing her mother of physical and emotional abuse - told a few home truths
to brother Jimmy Workman, with whom she is also estranged after he sided with their mom.

'How dare you say you miss me,' the Modern Family star begins.

'If you really wanted to see anyone and cared, you'd do a 180.'

She goes on to state that too much irreparable damage has been done to ever go back to the way things were.

'I'm sorry, what we've been through can't be fixed,' she concludes.

The teenager's text message was filed as part of her guardianship petition case, with her mother, Chrisoula 'Chrystal' Workman, using it as an attempt to prove that Ariel is suffering from Parental Alienation Syndrome, or PAS.

Shanelle, 35, has filed for permanent guardianship of her sister, who has been living under her care since October 3, 2012.

Taking to Twitter on Monday night, Ariel posted a sweet photo with the only family she needs - Shanelle, her husband, David Barry Gray, and the couple's two daughters, Skylar and Parker.

The group were all smiles as they cuddled up together, with the actress captioning the pic: 'My beautiful family. I'm truly lucky.'

Little more than a week ago, on February 28, Chrystal was ordered by a judge in Los Angeles to hand over about $4,000 in residual checks intended for her youngest daughter.

The ruling came after the actress's father, Glenn Workman, filed documents claiming his estranged wife violated a court order by depositing the paychecks.

Although the money was deposited into a bank account for Ariel's production company, Winter Sky, Glenn protested because he was given 'sole control of Ariel's finances' as part of a 2012 custody agreement.

The judge ordered that the money be turned over by March 14 and was told not to represent herself as being affiliated with Winter Sky, according to RadarOnline.

Glenn, meanwhile, has publicly backed Shanelle's bid for permanent guardianship of Ariel over that of her mother.
