And Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield made that fact abundantly clear as they engaged in an all-out public display of affection in Beverly Hills on Thursday.

The 25-year-old actress embraced her loved-up Spider-Man co-star, pulling him in for a great big smooch and cuddle on the street.

The pair even dressed somewhat similarly, with jeans and knitted sweatshirts keeping them both snug on the warm Los Angeles day.

Emma showed off her toned pins with incredibly tight blue skinny jeans and a cream coloured top, which she teamed with cute yellow bowling shoes.

The Crazy Stupid Love star wore her shoulder length red hair short, with her long bangs falling across her naturally pretty face as she went in for kisses with her man.

Andrew, 30, looked mighty chuffed with his lot in life as he returned Emma's kisses and responded to her loved-up gaze with a goofy grin.

The British actor even managed to maintain a firm hold on an L. L. Bean postage box under one arm while he hugged his girlfriend with the other, clearly not willing to give up either task.

The couple have been together since 2011.

It was very much a case of life imitating art when Andrew and Emma started dating, as they fell in love while playing on-screen lovers in The Amazing Spider-Man.

However his other half's future in the franchise looks in doubt, as Peter's true love is Mary Jane Watson, who he goes on to marry.

Emma's character Gwen Stacy meanwhile comes to a sticky end in the comic books, as she perishes when Spider-Man fails to save her while duelling with arch enemy The Green Goblin in a landmark 1973 issue of the popular comic.

The Amazing Spider-Man 2, which features Jamie Foxx as villain Electro, is slated for release on May 2 in the United States.

that was a fake story!!! he went to disney with the boy and even invited him to the spiderman premiere. the Academy cut his segment out. Andrew didn't do anything. don't believe every gossip you read.
