It's Catman! Larry Emdur attempts to kick off a whole new internet craze with his pet moggy

There's been cat-beards, whereby the moggy is held up to look like a fluffy beard and cat-fros when the pet is plonked on the owners head.

And just when cats thought they were safe to walk around like normal pets again, TV personality Larry Emdur has started a new variation of the internet craze, which is being dubbed, ‘Cat-woman’.

The Morning Show host, who bravely shaved his head for Leukaemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave last week, was clearly missing his weave and keen to try out a few new looks over the weekend.

But the 49-year-old television personality was barely recognisable with the black cat’s face acting as his eyes and nose.

Alongside the hilarious picture posted on his Instagram account, Larry typed: ‘Dear Internet, I luv you very much. Without you we would never have known how to use our cat to look like batman. I luv you Internet, very much.’

His 15k followers lapped up the snap with many sounding inspired by the trick.

Good sport Larry was visibly nervous when his Channel 7 co-host Kylie Gillies shaved his head live on The Morning Show last week. As tuffs of his barnet began to drop to the studio floor he said: ‘In our business, Kylie as you know hair is the whole business.’

Larry was perhaps inspired to use his pet black cat as a mask during a segment at a Doggie Yoga event in Bondi, which was filmed just a few hours after the shaving took place.

During the visit, the animal fan proudly paraded his new look as he was joined once again by his co-host Kylie and the pair posed for cute shots with some pups.

At this stage his pet black cat was blissfully unaware of what lay ahead.
