Virtual Instruments

XJ’s Virtual Instrument panel is customisable and ready to display the most relevant information in an instant. The crystal-clear screen automatically varies the display to offer multimedia options – the tachometer to the right of the speedometer is temporarily replaced by alert messages, such as low fuel, or prompts for spoken commands – for example, a list of music tracks or phone numbers to choose from.

Bi-function HID Xenon headlamps with Adaptive Front Lighting

Bi-function HID Xenon headlamps operate automatically when it starts to get dark. The headlamp wipers are set flush into the front bumper. In addition, the headlamps react to speed and steering, to cast a deeper beam on corners, and provide extra light for low-speed manoeuvres, such as parking. An intelligent high beam feature selects low beam when it detects oncoming vehicles and returns to full beam when the traffic has passed.

Blind Spot Monitor

Take any uncertainty out of changing lanes with a warning signal from radar sensors if another car enters your blind spot. An orange icon in the appropriate external mirror illuminates as soon as a vehicle is detected.

Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)

With Jaguar’s Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), the driver receives an alert message if the pressure in any of the tyres drops.
