This unlucky Ferrari owner (pictured right wearing a navy suit) was in for a nasty shock when he returned to his sports car to find an articulated lorry wedged in the side of the vehicle in Kensington, west London. The Ferrari 458 Italia - which costs £169,545 new - was crumpled on Kensington Square - the oldest garden square in the capital, on which the average house value is £8million. Is this the world's fastest car? Swedish 'megacar' clocks nearly 274mph with a five-litre V8 engine and an enormous 1,322 horse power (that's TEN times more powerful than a Ford Fiesta)
The Koenigsegg One:1 is being described as the 'world's first megacar' and is the most powerful production car ever built. The car will reportedly hit a top speed of 274mph - 4mph more than the Hennessey Venom GT and 6mph more than the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport. Incredibly, it should be able to go from 0-250mph (400kph) in just 20 seconds.
Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond warned not to drive his new £100,000 Porsche after two of the limited edition supercars suddenly burst into flames
Hammond, 44, is known for his love of all things Porsche but is being urged not to drive it. He recently described the supercar as 'so good, I had to buy one myself'. Porsche has released a statement warning owners of the supercar, which was released last year, to stop using it while they investigate the cause of two suspicious fires in the supercars. Approximately 100 of the £100,000 cars are owned by Brits.
