Charlie Sheen increases Brooke Mueller's monthly child support to $55k... while he asks judge to slash his payments to Denise Richards

Charlie Sheen has reportedly volunteered to pay his ex-wife Brooke Mueller $55,000 in child support.

The 48-year-old actor has offered to increase his monthly payments from $20,000 for their five-year-old twins Bob and Max because Brooke has been letting him see them more often.

A source told RadarOnline: 'Charlie is feeling very generous towards Brooke recently - this is attributed to the fact that Brooke is allowing him to spend time with the boys. So he decided to voluntarily begin paying Brooke the $55,000 in monthly child support.

'It had been reduced to $20,000 when she lost custody of the boys, but since Brooke now has the boys back, it was only a matter of time until it was brought up in court.'

Brooke, 36, lost custody of the twins when she was placed on involuntary psychiatric hold at the UCLA Medical Center last year, but she has since sought treatment for her drug dependency and is said to be on the road to recovery.

The Anger Management star had previously intended to sell the Mulholland Estates mansion he bought for Brooke and the twins, but he has since relented as he wants to keep Bob and Max nearby.

Brooke and the boys moved back into the Los Angeles house in December last year after the troubled socialite’s brother Scott was given temporary guardianship, although it is unclear how much time he is spending with them.  

Mueller, whose last stint in rehab was her 20th, is on track to regain custody of her boys in May.

'Brooke has been living at the mansion in Mulholland Estates that ex-husband, Charlie, bought since before Christmas,' a source told Radar.

'The boys had been living at the house with their temporary guardian, Brooke's brother Scott Mueller, but he hasn’t been spotted at the house lately.'

Meanwhile, Charlie isn't feeling so generous towards his other ex-wife Denise Richards, with whom he has daughters Sam, 10, and Lola, eight, as it was recently reported he has plans to slash her monthly child support money.

Charlie is believed to be planning to ask the judge to cut the $55,000 he gives Denise each month for their daughters Sam, 10, and Lola, eight.

A source told RadarOnline:  ‘Charlie hasn't spent any time with the girls in several months and thinks it's ridiculous that he continues to pay Denise $55,000.'

He also wants his former spouse to move out of the posh pad he has provided her with in Los Angeles.

Denise, 42, has lived in the house with Sam, Lola, and her adopted two-year-old daughter Eloise, for over a year because it is close to her children's school.

The former couple fell out in December after Charlie claimed Denise deliberately took the children on a vacation over the festive holiday so they couldn't spend Christmas with him.

Meanwhile, Charlie recently got engaged to his porn star girlfriend Brett Rossi after he popped the question in Hawaii last month.

However, Brett is still legally married to her first husband Jonathan Ross, who filed for divorce from her last July.

Along with Bob , Max, Sam and Lola, thrice-married Charlie also has a grown-up daughter Cassandra from a previous relationship.

Although Denise was great taking the boys in, I feel she was a little bit insensitive when she accused them of being violent. They are just little boys who have been sent from pillar to post, of course they are gonna act out.
