She has no shortage of celebrity friends or acolytes.

But British supermodel Kate Moss chose to take a mannequin as her special guest to Sir Philip Green's 62nd birthday celebrations in St Barts over the weekend.

The unusual decision, which will no doubt raise eyebrows as well as giggles amongst the Primrose Hill set, comes just weeks after countless of her pals gathered for a three-day bender to mark her 40th.

Fortunately, she was also accompanied by a slew of other movers and shakers, including Green's daughter Chloe.

Together, they gathered on the business tycoon's motor yacht - Lionheart - where very indulgent festivities were taking place on the luxury liner.

Keeping it casual, Kate wore a white shirt emblazoned with images from the Karma Sutra. She teamed the look with some white trousers and simple hoop earrings.

But, while Chloe also looked summery in her floor-length blue dress, all eyes were on the spooky child mannequin.

Dressed in an orange T-shirt with blue shorts, the figure was arranged to give the effect of him displaying 'jazz hands' - a stage term for excessive, theatrical waving.

At one point the cover star even put her black cap on his head.

Clearly, the in-joke was hilarious as both women were seen laughing out-loud as they strolled alongside the harbour.

But this wasn't the only fun they've had in recent days.

Chloe, who recently split from singer Marc Anthony, shared a snap earlier in the week commenting: 'Girls Trip!! #thesinglelife #whoneedsmen!'

Shading from the sun under a dark baseball cap, complete with 'F' logo, the shoe designer appeared to be wearing a low-cut red number which she teamed with diamond stud earrings.

Her 40-year-old companion put her arm around her, while the crystal clear water could be seen behind them.

The mother-of-one appeared to be make-up free for her outing, after opting for some strapless swimwear that remained out of shot.

Both the stars accessorised with simple and delicate gold jewellery while their hair appeared to be damp, suggesting they had been cooling off in the sea.

The duo were also joined by a blonde female companion who was equally as pouty in her mirrored aviators and flower necklace.

Kate was recently spotted next to Chloe's father Phillip Green on the front row at London Fashion Week ahead of the Topshop show last month.

The pair were joined by Kate's half sister Lottie who is hoping to follow in her famous sibling's footsteps.

The stunning star has remained close with the Aracdia Group CEO, of which Chloe sits on the board, ever since she designed a collection for the high street store in 2007.
