Back in October, the former Buffy The Vampire Slayer star and her handsome husband dropped $6.1 million on the sprawling 7,318 square foot mansion.

The abode features 6 bedrooms and 5.5 baths in the swanky Pacific Palisades area of Los Angeles.

Shockingly, the nearly two million jump in price comes with few upgrades since their initial purchase.

'Few (if any) alterations were made to the residence besides a trendy darkening of the hardwood floors throughout the main floor, a little paint here and/or there, and the installation of their own comfortable if vanilla-flavored furnishings,' reported the real estate blog.

The East Coast style, rustic home features a two story grand entrance, formal dining room, library, gourmet kitchen, gym, and a large media room for entertaining.

The second floor master suite has a soaring, sky-lit vaulted ceiling, fireplace, two sets of French doors that open to a small private terrace, and two fitted walk-in closets.

The private and lush outdoor grounds feature several shaded terraces, a built-in barbecue station, and a swimming pool and spa set into a flagstone terrace wedged with a child safety fence.

While they met on the set of I Know What You Did Last Summer in 1997, Sarah and Freddie have been married since 2002.

The 36-year-old actress has been enjoying success on her new hit show The Crazy Ones on CBS.

While husband Freddie, 37, recently appeared on the CW series, The Witches Of End.

The couple have two children together, four-year-old daughter Charlotte and 18-month-old son Rocky.

I don't see the point in this article, DM. Are you suggesting that people should not make a profit out of selling their home? If so, the whole world would stand still and nothing would move forwards any more - we'd all be going back to caves.

I wonder what their decor really looks like. Theses are the same photos used from when the house was on the market a year ago.

Freddie decided to stop working and look after his babies when they were born. I guess what happened to his Dad has something to do with that decision but I always thought it was and is sweet. I just saw a promo for a show where he is going to be in it, nice to see him back working
