Britney Spears looked sensational in September when promoting her new Piece Of Me Las Vegas residency.

With long blonde locks and showing off a slim figure, the 32-year-old was at her best. But fast forward six months and the Toxic singer seems to have made some bad choices for her image.

On Saturday the Louisiana native looked in need of a makeover as she walked through a New Orleans airport one day after her sister Jamie Lynn tied the knot with Jamie Watson.

With dark red locks pulled up in a messy manner and black eyeliner applied too thick to her eyes, the mother of two sons could have used better grooming techniques.

Her wardrobe had seen better days as well. With a cut-out grey tank top, black leggings and worn-out brown UGGS, the pop star looked like a college student in the throes of cramming for finals.

Her boyfriend David Lucado and one of her sons were also seen.

But one can't be too hard on the hit maker. After all, her Vegas residency, which has seen sold out shows back-to-back, can't be a breeze.

According to USA Today, the show - during which Spears belts out '90s hits like Salve 4 U as well as new songs such as Perfume - is a major success.

After opening in late December to a bang with celebrity attendees such as Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez, the act started selling out.

It made $10.9m in just two months, according to Caesars Entertainment.

Her act at Planet Hollywood's Axis theater is the most searched act online, according to vegas.com.

Keith Caulfield, Billboard's associate director of charts, told the paper she will most likely add shows and become a steady act in Sin City for years to come, like Celine Dion was.

'There are a fair number of Britney fans who are planning their summer trips around her show,' he said.

Spears will be back in Vegas on April 25.

The beauty has also been busy promoting her latest fragrances, Naughty and Nice Fantasy.

Leave her alone! Good on her for turning her life around, she looks great and I for one am sick of stories designed to shatter these women and send them back to the edge - its called "malicious".

Here is an uncomfortable idea she never had any looks to begin with. Except those derived from hours of shading and pimping at the hands of pros. Whose abilities to push and shove a body into our perception of beauty. Is their professional abilities the only beauty we accept or is natural beauty dead finally?

Ms Spears' family is far from "top drawer." She has the manners and behaviour typical of that class of society: no taste, little dignity. She has moderate talent built up by a lot of 'help' around her. It's surprising that she hasn't picked up at least a few more classy habits from the circles she has had the opportunity to mix with and still shows her low-class background...as in traveling dressed like a slob. If you compare her to a "class act" like Emma Watson, she really comes off as "People of Walmert."

I hope it is genuine but knowing this publication as I do, prolly just what censors allowed to filter though, as part of some underhanded and devious agenda. I hope there was not too much Britney bashing since she seems to be trying and improving her life.

Brittany Jean if it wasn't for the fact you could sing you would be working as a waitress serving biscuits and gravy with grits in a diner in your hometown.Or working as cashier at Walmart.
