She really has got excess baggage! Model Hayley Hasselhoff touches down in Sydney for three-week trip... and her luggage is as tall as she is

She has just made her debut catwalk appearance at London’s Plus Size Fashion Weekend, so it is no surprise that Hayley Hasselhoff loves fashion.

But she showed the world exactly how much when she touched down in Sydney today with a luggage stack as tall as she is.

The 21-year-old daughter of David Hasselhoff and Pamela Bach will be in Australia for three weeks, promoting positive body image.

Hayley has been a model since the age of 14 and is a US size 12-14 (Australian size 16-18).

She regularly speaks out about body image, saying that there should be room in the fashion industry for women of all sizes.

‘Calling it 'plus size' doesn't do it justice,' she told reporters at the Plus Size Fashion Weekend. 'It's about women with curves, and women of all shapes and sizes. I just hope one day [events like this] will get the same respect.'

Hayley arrived at Sydney airport this morning wearing a black and leather-print, a flowy black top and leather leggings, with matching dark shoes and handbag.

The blonde beauty hid her eyes after the long trip behind aviator sunglasses and added some freshness to her look with some dark pink lipstick.

She then picked up her luggage, which included at least six bulging suitcases.

The fashionista gave followers a glimpse of what is inside her towering pile of bags on Instagram on Thursday, when she posted a picture of seven Prada shoeboxes with a pair of pink suede heels on top of the pile.

The caption reads: ‘Gearing up for my trip to Australia. Thank you Prada.’

Hayley has been excitedly preparing for her trip to Australia. She posted a picture of exercise gear to Instagram on Tuesday saying she was starting a two-workout-a-day training regime with her trainer Ditanyon Demps, in preparation for her trip.

Hayley’s strict training routine is in keeping with her assertion last week that plus-size models are often fitter than their skinny counterparts.

‘I think people have this conception of plus-size models as people who aren’t fit and don’t work out and don’t really take care of their bodies.

‘The thing with plus-size models is they’re probably the most toned and fit models you’ll probably see on the runway, because they’re so body-conscious,’ she said in a video for People Magazine.

Hayley also works as an actor and starred in the short-lived ABC comedy, Huge, about overweight teenagers who are sent to a 'fat camp'.

She has revealed that her next project will be to develop a 1960's-inspired line of lingerie.
