Mandy Moore spends HOURS at hair salon to look gorgeous for Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's engagement party

Mandy Moore went out of her way to make sure she had snazzy locks for Johnny Depp and Amber Heard's swishy engagement party in LA on Friday evening.

Just before the fancy fete - that saw Steven Tyler and Marilyn Manson as guests - the 29-year-old spent 'hours' at Andy LeCompte's to look just right, a source tells MailOnline.

And all that effort paid off as the Tangled beauty showed of ravishing brownish red locks as she exited the West Hollywood salon.

Wearing her dark mane to the shoulders and parted on the side, the A Walk To Remember star looked serious but pretty.

Her fashion sense was French inspired with a blue and white striped shirt under an unzipped black motorcycle jacket.

Worn denim jeans with rips all over them and high-heeled beige snakeskin short boots completed her look.

The wife of Ryan Adams was holding tight a black purse and wallet as she walked down the quiet street.

Black sunglasses and pink lipstick gave her a Hollywood look but she failed to crack a smile.

On Monday the beauty celebrated her five year wedding anniversary to Adams by posting their marriage license online.

'The best 5 years...' she captioned the image. She wed the rocker in a very private ceremony in Georgia in 2009.

Mandy, who made a splash in the '90s as a Disney singer and actress, has been voicing the character of Cassandra on the animated series High School USA!

The show is described as 'the misadventures of the super-positive students of High School USA, as they confront all the unique, and often gross, challenges of growing up in a modern world.'

In 2013 Moore popped up in the TV movie Christmas In Conway with Andy Garcia.
