As a hands-on-mother-of-two, it isn't all about tight glamorous dresses for Jessica Alba.

The star stuck to a practical blue denim jumpsuit as she headed to a children's birthday party with daughter Honor on Saturday.

The Into The Blue actress sported a casual and low-maintenance hair style for her arrival at the Beverly Hills abode.

Mother dauighter duo: Alba held onto her daughter Honor's hand as they crossed the street with gifts

The 32-year-old contrasted the relatively casual jumpsuit with elegant accessories, including a chunky gold necklace and a pair of decorative earrings.

Alba completed the ensemble with a pair of stylish silver sandals and a white designer purse that dangled from her arm.

The actress held onto her daughter Honor's hand as she approached the birthday party with gifts in hand.

Alba recently joked to People Magazine about her eldest daughter's grown up fashion taste.

'Honor likes wearing heels and dresses,' Alba told the publication. 'I’m like, "No! [Don't you want to] climb a tree?"' The mother of two exclaimed.

On Saturday, Honor was pretty in an adorable white tank top, grey sweater, shorts, and sparkly pink flats.

She teamed the outfit with a black bow that tied around her high ponytail.

They are an attractive family,which goes without saying, what is truly beautiful about them though is the obvious delight they have just being together. I can't see that bond being broken and that's what makes them radiant no matter what they are wearing or where they are.
