Takapuna to Toronto! Lorde commands the stage in Canada during her international tour...and switches things up with an all white look

She recently shot down rumours that she was engaged to her boyfriend.
And while her relationship with James Lowe rocks on, her career also continues to blossom, as her tour of the Americans rolls through to Canada.
The 17-year-old kept things interesting, keeping her signature sound but changing her trademark look, opting for an all white ensemble rather than the usual dark duds.

Switch it up! The teenage popstar changed her look up, wearing a white outfit rather than her usual all-black look
The wavy mane of brunette hair and the dark lipstick were still present, but the Royals singer was almost unrecognisable from the neck down.
Lorde, real name Ella Yelich-O'Connor, wore loose white pants, a singlet and a long blazer, a far cry from her usual all-black outfits.
But of course, the new attire didn't affect her stage presence, as she crooned with her usual impassioned soulfulness.

Lorde began her tour of America earlier in the month, and has will continue to do so through mid-April, during which time she'll be performing at the Lallapalooza and Coachella festivals.
But that's just the beginning of her rigorous schedule, as in May she'll be playing shows in Australia, America AND Europe.
However, music will no longer be the extent of her business, as the teen announced last week that she'll be teaming up with Mac Cosmetics to release a make-up collection later this year.
Lorde recently had the opportunity to be a supporting act on Katy Perry's Prismatic World Tour, but told KIIS 106.5 that she turned the offer down because 'I'm just basically really stubborn and I want to be really independent.'
'I want to be headlining my own shows instead of supporting someone else. Which I think is fair enough,' she said.
