You might consider her lucky to be working at all.
But in scenes from her new docu-series Lindsay Lohan was seen attacking producers after they refused to pay her in advance.
And the conflict almost cost her the lease on a new apartment.
Craig Pilgrim, of the Pilgrim production company shooting the Lindsay show for OWN, was seen pulling a check over fears Lohan would not complete filming.

Fury: Lindsay Lohan reacts with outrage as she learns her production company is stalling on paying her an advance for her half-filmed reality show
'You and I have to have a better understanding because this is making me very frustrated,' he told her on Sunday night's show.
'When you tell our production what you will and won’t do, it doesn’t work for me.'
But Lohan defended herself, saying: 'I never once said I’m not shooting it.'

And she argued: I was ready.
'You can’t pull that s*** with me anymore. I am giving you no reason to feel that.
'So until I f*** up, you can’t assume I am GOING to!'
Eventually the argument was sorted, with Lohan's advance going straight to the owners of her new apartment.
It allowed her to move out of the hotel room she had lived in since rehab, which had become cluttered with boxes of her belongings.

Moving on: Lohan explained ¿It was such a relief to get the keys and finally have a place I can come home to'
‘It was such a relief to get the keys and finally have a place I can come home to,’ she said.
Her friend Sam Mayer and driver Steven Rodriguez came to congratulate her.
‘It was affecting my mental state, being in that [hotel] room, with all that clutter. It was hard,’ she said.
Lohan discussed the issues with her father Michael Lohan over a pizza dinner.

And the 27-year-old also too the chance to berate her father - commanding him not to mention her half-siblings in her company.
The bitter row ensued because Lindsay wanted her father, Michael Lohan, to buy a car for her younger brother Cody, 18.

Michael is a father of six. He has four offspring with Lindsay’s mother Dina Lohan and two from other women. One of his younger daughters, Ashley, was born while he was still married to Lindsay’s mother, the second, a boy, is just one-year-old.
Looking decidedly uncomfortable Michael refuted buying Cody the car, siting his obligations to Lindsay’s sister Ali and his youngest children.
‘I have child support…that’s supposed to be for the kids,’ he protested.
Not happy: Michael believes some of Lindsay's friends could lead her astray
‘I do not want to talk about your two other to random f***ing kids,’ she snapped.
‘Out of all of us Cody’s the one that deserves something the most,’ she told her father.
‘It hurts me to see him not getting something that all his friends are getting…he doesn’t have a dad to take him to soccer games…he needs his father,’ she choked.

‘Your mother cut me out of his life,’ jibed back Michael, now 53, who had a tumultuous separation from Dina, a former dancer.
The argument was part of the second episode of the docuseries Lindsay on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN network. The first of which drew almost 700,000 viewers last week.
Reflecting on the incident later the Mean Girls actress said: ‘My dad has this whole other life with all these other people that he’s created…and I do not want to be a part of that.’

‘They are not part of my life and they never will be,’ she confessed.
Back at the restaurant Michael had a fit of insight and wisdom - advising anyone going through a divorce to shield their children from the dispute.
‘The kids are the ones that wind up suffering…especially Lindsay…and that wonderful, gifted girl is an example of what can happen,’ he said remorsefully.
The star claims that it was her father who contributed to her former behvaiour - not her friends
Despite obvious tensions Lindsay said her relationship with her father is improving.
‘At least we can talk about it now…that’s good,’ she said.
Michael was still unwilling to buy the car: ‘But Cody wants a $48,000 car and he wants it now,’ he sighed.
In a bid to change the subject Michael attempted to quiz Lindsay about her ‘new boyfriend’ American footballer Matt Nordgren.
Sorting through it all: Lindsay pictured in last weeks episode
‘I don’t want to talk about that,’ she said bluntly.
‘What? You finally meet a good guy and you won’t tell me about him?’
‘He is a good guy,’ she said dismissively.
When Michael questioned her about his previous circle of friends she became defensive.
‘He was with a different crew then…they were…like idiots,’ she mumbled under the duress.
‘Like the kind of idiots that you’re around? Like Gavin?’ said Michael, referring to Lindsay’s stalwart party crony Gavin Doyle.
Sorting out: Lindsay attempts to go though all the bits and pieces she has in storage
Meanwhile Lindsay denied that she has partied with Gavin since rehab – claiming they were just having dinner.
‘I know the truth, I know nothing is wrong, I know I’m just going to f****** dinner and coming home,’ she grumbled.
Clearly annoyed Lindsay then rebuked her father for badmouthing her friends on camera.
‘Don’t start doing that, don’t do that on this,’ she barked nodding in the direction of the film crew.
‘It p****** me off when you do that, that’s disrespectful, don’t start naming names…’
‘You want me to start naming names?’ She threatened.
‘You do that, you name names. It's wrong,’ she accused.
Struggling: After finding her perfect apartment, Lindsay was then seen being told by her real estate broker that the manager of the property wanted $10million in insurance
‘Why? Because I mention the people in your life that weren't good to you?’ Michael asked.
Riled further she retorted: ‘Because they're people that you don't think were good for people. See, now you're getting me angry - because you weren't good for me for a long time in my life!’
He replied: ‘Well, if that's what you believe, that's fine, honey, I accept that though. I totally accept that.’
Off camera Lindsay explained her frustrations about her father who would often ‘disappear’ for days on end: ‘So my dad makes a nasty comment about my friends, it hurts me,’ she said.
‘They're at places in their lives, as long as they're not bringing that into my life now, then it's fine to have them in my life.
‘They may go out and do what they want to do but they're not the kind of people who are going to do it around me, and that's what matters to me,’ she said, presumably referring to the hedonistic partying she needs to stay clear from.
‘They're good people,’ she continued.
Allegations: TMZ claims the pair were involved in a 'nasty argument' where she is alleged to have hit him several times
‘They've been there for me when I didn't have other people that were, you know, when other people weren't,’ she trailed off.
The drama was occurring while Lindsay, fresh out of rehab, was hoping to move into a new apartment in New York City.
She was also trying to support her mother, who had just been arrested for an alleged DUI.
‘It’s really out of character for her, she’s really ashamed about it,’ said the troubled star.
Big Apple living: The star has been residing in New York as she films the series
‘So I just want to be there for her as much as I can,’ added the actress, who was living in a hotel for 49 days before her apartment finally came through.
The show also documented Lindsay’s relationship with the paparazzi.
‘Lindsay’s story is an interesting one, I’ve been seeing her out here for ten odd years,’ said NY Paparazzo Philip Vaughan.
‘She used to be sweet, friendly and untainted by fame but clearly you look at her now and she’s a completely different person,’ he added.
‘You’d expect that, it’s been a decade, but they are their own worst enemies…they keep on failing and every time they fail there is a new reason to chase them,’ he said dryly.
In a bid to relieve her stress Lindsay met with AJ Johnson, a professional life coach and trainer.
AJ began by asking Lohan a series of quick-fire questions such as: ‘Pool or ocean? black or white? Love or be loved?’
When it came to the simple: ‘Yes or no?’ Lindsay hesitated.
‘No,’ she answered with a smile, wryly referring to her newfound abstinence.
The Two and a Half Men actress then embarked on a health and fitness regime with her new coach.
‘Often I know what I’m doing is wrong but I go ahead and do it anyway,’ lamented the star, who was still smoking regularly.
‘I used to sabotage things as soon as they started getting good,’ she admitted.
