They are a notoriously private couple, who carefully manage their public profile.

So it is perhaps unsurprising that Beyonce has serious misgivings about attending the wedding of Kanye West and his fame-hungry fiancée Kim Kardashian.

The singer, whose husband Jay Z is Kanye's best friend, is said to have made it clear that while she will attend, she does not want to appear on Kim's reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

A source told Radar that Beyonce had informed Kanye that: 'under no circumstances will she be a part of any filming on the wedding day if it’s for Kim’s reality show.'

A spokesman for Beyonce refused to comment on the report.

For Kim having Beyonce and Jay Z as guest of honour at her wedding will be a major coup.

But Beyonce, at least, is not quite so happy about the plan.

'Make no mistake, the only reason Beyoncé is going to the wedding is because Jay is best friend’s with Kanye,' Radar's source said.

'She knows she’ll have to go to the wedding, but really does not to want to.'

Having kept her own wedding small, Beyonce is said to be unimpressed with KimYe's extravagant plans.

'She thinks it’s just tacky,' the source revealed.

Kim, 33, is said to have attempted to pal up with Beyonce soon after starting dating Kanye.

But her friendly approaches are widely reported to have been rebuffed.

And while Jay Z is expected to be Kanye's number one choice of best man, he is also thought to have some concerns about the wedding

'Jay agreed initially but had one condition – under no circumstances can there be any reality TV shows filming him, his wife Beyoncé or daughter Blue Ivy during the ceremony,' a Kardashian source told the Daily Star.

'She [Beyonce] purposefully keeps herself away from trashy TV and isn’t prepared to lower her standards for anyone, or any occasion,' the source explained.

The Kardashian show is sneaky. They'll probably promise Beyonce that she won't be filmed and then do it anyway knowing that Beyonce will not make a spectacle and sue.

I remember seeing beyonce's private parts splattered around in DM, last year, in the Super Bowl show pics? The pic was quickly removed.......THAT was tacky, as well IMO btw...... So is mentioning your not wanting to be on the show, out of the blue.... Sounds like someone else is trying to make a hype as well....
