Australian actress and new mother Teresa Palmer proved she can multitask with the the best of them, doing her version of Gisele Bundchen's famous Instagram shot.

The 28-year-old shared a snap with her 76,887 followers on Sunday as she breastfed her son Bodhi, while writing beside a fire place.

'Multitasking Mama! Breastfeeding whilst at a friends party signing her bday skateboard followed by roasting s'mores! Perfect night with my babes and friends,' she said underneath the photo.

The shot was a much more down to earth version of supermodel Bundchen's now famous image of her breastfeeding daughter Vivian Lake while a team of professionals did her hair, make-up and nails.

Palmer - however - kept it simple, with another picture showing that she was fresh-faced, with her blonde hair flowing freely over a black cardigan and a black pair of shorts.

The Warm Bodies actress hasn't hidden her love of motherhood, regularly posting snaps of herself and her son on social media after she gave birth in February.

Proud parents: Mark Webber and Palmer regularly post shots of themselves on social media with their new bub, like this pool shot shared on Sunday

It's her first child with husband and fellow actor, Mark Webber, 33, with the pair getting married in a seaside ceremony in Mexico over Christmas.

The couple have been playing happy families since getting together in 2012 after Palmer contacted him via Twitter about his movie The End Of Love.

Webber has a son, Isaac Love, from a previous relationship and Palmer has regularly tweeted about her joy over becoming a step-mother.
