On Sunday she was at a gym working out.

And on Monday Jenna Dewan Tatum rewarded herself with a healthy lunch at a vegan restaurant in West Hollywood.

The 33-year-old  looked as bright and beautiful as the wonderful Southern California weather in a colourful mini-dress with plunging neckline and spaghetti straps that skimmed her perfectly toned curves.

She matched her strappy black high-heeled sandals with her handbag, which had a decorative detail carved into the leather at the side.

Channing Tatum's wife of four years didn't style her long brunette tresses, allowing her hair to fall freely over her shoulders.

And the actress didn't appear to be wearing any make-up as she balanced her dark glasses on top of her head.

The couple met on the set of dance movie Step Up in 2006 and married in 2009. They welcomed their first child, daughter Everly, last May.

A lifelong dancer, Jenna was able to lose the 33 pounds she gained during pregnancy fairly quickly.

The Witches of East End star has even joked that holding the baby helps her work out.

She said: 'She's not little. She's definitely getting my husband's genes! I'm getting my arm workout by that.'

Jenna has said she makes sure she and Channing, 33, go on date nights, leaving Everly at home with a babysitter as getting adult time together is essential.

She told Us Weekly: 'You've got to get out and be around adults, and not be speaking in a baby voice all day long - just for your own sanity!'

But Jenna said she and the Magic Mike star are closer and have also become better planners since Everly's arrival.

She has also been successfully balancing her professional career with motherhood.

'You really get a lot pickier about the sort of projects and even the opportunities that come your way,' she told People.

'For me I've been really lucky because even though I'm working a lot, I'm able to bring her everywhere. She comes on set with me every day.'
