He caused outrage when he refused to propose to Nikki Ferrell after choosing her on the final episode of ABC's The Bachelor and as if that wasn't enough, Juan Pablo Galvais has so far failed to utter the words 'I Love You' to Nikki, even though she has declared herself to him.

As if that wasn't enough to make fans of the show worry about the couple's future happiness, a new picture of them sharing an awkward kiss at the wedding of friends in the Dominican Republic is sure to raise eyebrows.

In the snap, Nikki has her eyes closed as she leans in to pucker up to her boyfriend but Juan Pablo's eyes are open as he looks to the side, appearing more interested in what is going on around him than in the pretty blonde.

He has his arm around Nikki in the picture but while she is leaning towards him, his body is turned away, which anyone with even the slightest understanding of body language will realise is not a good sign.

However, they put on a happy face for their social networking sites with Nikki sharing a picture of them both on Instagram and wrote: 'Wedding fun in the Dominican Republic with @juanpagalavis and this gorgeous view (sic).'

The picture shows Juan Pablo dressed in a dapper suit, looking every inch the perfect groom, as he smiles for the camera.

He posed with his arm around blonde Nikki, who looks beautiful in a red dress.

However, the reality TV contestant does appear to look quite skinny in the gown, with perhaps the excitement of the hectic past few weeks catching up to her.

The couple's wedding fun came soon after Juan Pablo revealed he would never take part in the show again.

Writing in his People blog, he said: 'I will always be thankful for the opportunity, but if you asked me to do it again, I would definitely say, "HELLLLL NOOOOO" jejejejeje (sic).'

No other Bachelor in the history of the show has been as vilified as the single dad  but in his blog he insists people just can't cope with his honesty.

He said: 'When I was announced as The Bachelor, Chris Harrison said, "In the history of this show, no guy has made a greater impact with less screen time." Have you thought about why people apparently liked me at the time? Why I didn't have that much screen time?

'Well, so you guys understand a little bit more, it is because of my honesty and that I don't like drama at all – something that viewers appreciated from the little they saw of me on The Bachelorette.

'I believe my direct approach and honesty unfortunately ended up hurting some of the women and that was never my intention.

'I have always cared deeply about the women and have stayed true to myself and wanted to be respectful of them and not waste their time. I believe I have a different style than others who have been on this show.'

Juan Pablo recently released a touching YouTube video dedicated to the winner that he titled Adventures In Loving You, an odd choice considering he would not tell the beauty he loved her while on the show.

The 3.5 carat diamond Neil Lane ring is reportedly with Bachelor producers.

'You go on [The Bachelor] thinking if there is the connection, you propose,' the former soccer player told People.

'But I don't feel there's a need to propose to somebody if I don't feel 100 percent. I didn't know Nikki. I want to know more, a lot more.'

Why do they keep calling her the winner? What did she win? Yeah she beat out the other ladies but what has she "won"? The world puts too much emphasis on marriage as if the woman has been rescued and saved. And here he didn't even propose to her.

Doesn't she realize that the whole world is laughing at how stupid she is? Anyone who saw the last few episodes of that show saw that he is just a sad little human being who loves himself more than anyone in the world, and wouldn't be with him if you paid them. Either way, it's a reality show meant to entertain and I was definitely entertained by this train wreck

Actually we are not laughing - we applaud her for speaking her mind and going after what she wants. Women like her always finish first because they know what they want and go after it. She is the one with Juan now and after the cameras are gone, there still together. To me - she is a winner and very well raised woman. Good luck to them!

I am not laughing, I'm throwing up and disgusted with her! We all know who and what kind of man is JP, but for Nikki still embrace that kind of attitude to she is the lowest kind of desperate woman just for SEX. DISGUSTING, NO BRAIN AT ALL!!!!!
