She's previously admitted that she would actively discourage her young daughter from having tattoos.
But Mel C unveiled a brand new inking on her upper arm as she posted an up-close-and-personal selfie on her Twitter page on Monday night.
The 40-year-old singer added to the existing tomboy-style Celtic band around her bicep that she has had since her early days in the Spice Girls with a delicate feather design, which loops through the chain.

Posting the shot on her Twitter page, the Liverpudlian songbird wrote: 'New ink.'
The singer's 12 tattoos include the ornate Celtic design at the top of her left arm, a colourful, ornate dragon on her right leg and a Japanese symbol near her right shoulder.
Mel had the majority of her inkings done in her younger years, but has previously admitted she regrets some of her bold pieces of body art.

And the musician revealed she would advise her seven-year-old daughter, Scarlet, against going under the needle in the future - because she is considering having some of her own removed.
She said in an interview with Good Housekeeping magazine in 2012: 'I’d definitely discourage Scarlet from having tattoos.
I’m looking into getting some of them removed.'
But not all of Mel's inkings have brought regret, with her recently explaining that her scribings on each wrist hold particularly fond memories.
The singer revealed her Tibetan tats
remind her to be 'positive and strong' because she was going through a
difficult time in life when she had them done.
She
told the Mail: 'These tattoos remind me to be positive and strong – the
right wrist means ‘love’ and the left means ‘happiness’ in Tibetan.
'I had them done at a tattoo parlour in Amsterdam in 2000 when I was going through a tough time.'
