1. Deadline for Peter and Patricia Gruber Fellowship 2010 extended to 15 February 2010.

Please bring this to the attention of any likely candidates.
The deadline for the 2011 Peter and Patricia Gruber Fellowship will be changed to 30 November 2010: this is to allow candidates to know the outcome in good time for career development planning.
2. Information Bulletin (IB) 105 is on-line

IB106 will appear in June 2010 and will be largely devoted to a celebration of IYA2009. The deadline for contributions to IB106 is 1 May 2010.
3. The Post Meeting Reports of the 2009 IAU Symposia are on-line
The Post Meeting Reports of the 2009 IAU Symposia are on-line and can be found at http://www.iau.org/static/scientific_meetings/postmr09.pdf
The process of selecting the nine 2011 IAU Symposia from 17 submitted proposals is now underway and will be completed at the Executive Committee meeting 11-13 May 2010.
Remember that the next General Assembly will take place in Beijing 20 – 31 August 2012. The deadline for Letters of Intent for 2012 Symposia, Special Sessions and Joint Discussions is 15 September 2010.

A total of 39 Expressions of Interest were received. The selection is expected to be made at the Executive Committee meeting 11-13 May 2010.
5. The 38th COSPAR Scientific Assembly takes place in Bremen, Germany 18-25 July 2010.
