'Courtney Love found Tupac...!' Hole singer's Flight MH370 'detective' work spawns hilarious internet meme

It has been missing since March 8 after vanishing during its journey from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing with 239 people on board, sparking a mass international search effort and thousands of conspiracy theories.
So when Courtney Love claimed she had solved the mystery of Flight MH370 by posting an image from crowd sourcing website, Tomnod, with crudely drawn arrows pointing to 'oil' in the ocean and then to another spot with the word, 'plane?' scribbled next to it, the internet quickly reacted.
The creative souls of the world wide web have had our Courtney, 49, solving other perplexing mysteries with the visual aid of toddler-like red scribbles as in her original post.
And you thought he died in 1996! One riff on Courtney Love's 'detective work' has her discovering late rapper Tupac Shakur on a deserted beach
'Courtney Love found 2Pac!,' one reads with arrows pointing to Death Row Records mogul, Suge Knight, and another that reads 'Cuba' before one that stretches to a woman on the beach and says, '2Pac!'
Another particularly funny one has Courtney finding your keys; a picture of a sofa is scribbled over with signs saying, 'not here,' 'always the last place you look' and 'see that lump.'
It's also signed C.L. as her rudimentary Flight MH3270 was, as if Kurt Cobain's widow was conscious that the piece would one day be auctioned off.
'Courtney located Bigfoot' Yep, our intrepid riot grrrrl has found Sasquatch, too
Is there no end to her skills? Courtney can even find your keys
Well, she had to get this on: Ms love, located the Loch Ness monster
'I'm no expert,' Courtney wrote on her original post for those who might have thought that a former grunge singer is more likely to solve the puzzle than the global intelligence agencies already looking.
Other riffs see Courtney finding Bigfoot (label on lake reads 'calm, too calm), the Loch Ness Monster, Waldo and a helicopter that crashed in plain sight.
It's doubtful that this well meaning joshing will have an effect on the outspoken blonde's theorising, although she will have to take a break from her frenetic internet presence in May when she tours England.
Parody: The Courtney riddles solved just kept on coming
Is this the missing plane? Courtney posted a snapshot of an area of the ocean she believed to contain the remains of the MH370 on her Facebook page, Monday
Eager to help: Courtney , pictured last month, says she has become a little obsessive' about finding the missing plane
Though the meme is tremendously funny, it's hard to find anything more bizarre than Courtney's original post.
'[It's] like a mile away Pulau Perak, where they 'last' tracked it 5°39'08.5"N 98°50'38.0"E but what do I know?' she wrote.
Thrilled with her 'discovery', the singer retweeted several news articles reporting her post, telling NY Mag's Daily Intelligencer she had become 'a little obsessive' with the search for the plane.
'I went to the satellite site and just uploaded tons and tons of pictures,' she told the publication. 'I really doubt aliens took it. It's got to be somewhere.'
Satellite company DigitalGlobe uploaded high-resolution satellite and aerial images to its Tomnod site that lets people explore the seas for clues about the crash, as well signs of a wreckage or oil slick.
Images
are then tagged by users and analysed by experts before the most
significant sightings are sent to the search teams in Asia
'I mean I don't know anything about aviation per se,' Courtney told the magazine. 'I saw an article asked people to help search on Tomnod.com so I decided to give it a shot.
'I figured a plane would still be leaking some fuel so I searched for signs of an oil slick. I found one and there appeared to be an object nearby. I don't know if it is the plane or not, but I figured I'd do my part and bring some awareness to the site, for the sake of all the families involved.
'I hope they find the plane, I pray they're still alive, it's sad and my heart goes out to all those involved. It's the least I can do.'
Unfortunately, Courtney's discovery has been previously ruled out by the Tomnod website.
'Although it is still an interesting clue, it is looking much more like the other boats operating in the region,' the website said. 'Keep up the good work.'
