Justin Bieber 'negotiating plea deal' for egg attack on neigbour's house

By Daily Mail Reporter

Justin Bieber is reportedly negotiating a plea deal in his egg attack case.

The 20-year-old will likely be charged with vandalism after allegedly pelting his neighbour's property with eggs earlier this year, but the case will probably not got to trial, reports TMZ.

According to the website, the LA County DA has requested a meeting with Bieber's lawyer Howard Weitszman to discuss a settlement for the damage to the property - which is estimated to be around $20,000.

The meeting between Weitzman and the prosecutor will involve deciding on a settlement as well as a plea of no contest to misdemeanor vandalism, reports TMZ.

Bieber would therefore avoid a prison sentence and be placed on informal probation.

According to the website, the DA and the LA County Sheriff's Department are at loggerheads regarding the case. The Sheriff wants Bieber to be charged with a felony while the DA views the crime as a misdemeanor.

The case could be resolved by next week, reports TMZ.

Justin allegedly caused more than $20,000 in damage during the vicious egg attack in January.

According to TMZ, the entire front of the house needs to be re-plastered with Venetian plaster, which will cost around $15,000. An additional $5,000 is needed to to repair the entryway, including re-staining the doors.

The incident was caught on camera, and the neighbour can be heard shouting: 'I can f***ing see you!' as the footage shows the damage that was allegedly done by the star.

Featuring a gallery of images showing smashed eggs on the property, TMZ adds that there was also a verbal altercation between the pair with the neighbour shouting: 'What the hell are you doing?'
Then another voice, apparently Justin's, shouts back: 'F**k you! I got another one for you, actually.

Police officers raided the pop star's Calabasas, California house days after the attack to seize surveillance footage following the neighbour's allegation that the singer pelted his house with up to 20 eggs.

Deputies were looking for any evidence linking the star with the egg assault including other eggs in the house. There was also a battering ram at the scene.

He has pleaded not guilty to DUI, resisting arrest without violence and driving without a valid license in the Miami case.

Like to know what damage was caused to total 20K - the one photo would only need a pan and brush, hose with water in it - wouldn't cost a loaf of bread!
