She arrived in Australia with a pile of suitcases taller than she is and now we can see why.

Hayley Hasselhoff has been changing outfits so often during her Australian visit it's no surprise her favourite hashtag is #outfitofthehour.

The 21-year-old plus size model made a bold fashion statement when she hit the red carpet in Melbourne on Thursday night, wearing black leather overalls, a floor-length vest, white T-shirt, black platform heels and a wide-brimmed hat.

Hayley, who is David Hasselhoff's daughter, was at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival Runway 5 event at Central Pier.

Earlier in the evening she attended the Runway 4 event dressed in a royal blue raw silk suit, which she paired with a white shirt and matching white pointed heels.

The blonde beauty has been a busy woman ever since she touched down in Australia, attending fashion shows and red carpet events and appearing on TV and radio to promote healthy body image.

And she likes to have a new outfit for every appearance she makes.

Hayley was sporting a red leather and tweed jacket Wednesday for ABC radio interview in Melbourne.

Earlier in the day she wore a black coat with white checks on her way to a Herald Sun photo shoot at Luna Park.

But she began her Wednesday in a different outfit altogether - a long dark blue dress which she paired with a floor length red cape.

On Tuesday she flew to from Sydney to Melbourne while sporting a black layered look, which included a long shirt-dress and a textured coat.

Earlier in the day she wore black and gold shiny baroque pants, a black blazer and a cute starry Chanel necklace during an appearance on Network Ten morning show Studio 10.

On Tuesday the 21-year-old sat down for an interview with the MailOnline and said she was working on her own plus size fashion range.

'It's something I've always wanted to do and it's happening.'

The model and actress is an outspoken advocate for positive body image, and says she doesn't understand why top end brands don't cater for women larger than a US Size 6.

'It just baffles me. If you don't want it in store, fine, but at least have it online because at the end of the day it's really good for your business,' she said.

Hayley - who recently walked the catwalk in London for British Plus Size Fashion Weekend - said her dad 'The Hoff' has been 'very supportive' of her career decisions.

'He's been supportive through everything I've done and he's really proud of my work ethic,' she said.

'He appreciates the business that I'm in and whatever I do, as long as I'm happy.'

The bubbly blonde has been a plus size model since she was 14 years old.

Billie Faiers, if she ever put a little bit of weight on. Jokes aside, I think she looks very striking actually. A refreshing change from the picture perfect, non-identifiable models we are used to! And I like that she doesn't conform to normal, frumpy plus size clothes too.
