David Guetta and his wife Cathy reportedly got a divorce last week, ending their 24 year marriage.

According to France's Voici magazine, the couple's relationship was legally ended in a Paris court, but neither the DJ nor the nightclub manager were present at the hearing.

The pair instead choose to stay in Los Angeles for work commitments, while the reason for their divorce is not yet known.

The former couple are expected to continue to work with one another on their mutual business interests.

The 46-year-old superstar first met Cathy, also 46, in 1990 at Paris nightclub, Bains-Douches, and they tied the knot later that same year.

They have two children, Tim, 10, and Angie, six, who are thought to spent a lot of time in London with their mother.

In August 2012, the Titanium hitmaker and Cathy renewed their wedding vows to celebrate their 20th anniversary.

The renewal was an intimate ceremony which took place in front of family and friends on the Spanish island of Ibiza.

The outdoor, waterfront celebration was also attended by several famous faces, including Naomi Campbell, Akon, Paul Okenfold, Afrojack and Pete Tong.

Speaking last year about balancing her family and work lives, Cathy told SoFeminine.co.uk: 'It requires a lot of organisation.

'When I’m with my family, I’m with them... there’s no more iPad, iPhone, telephone and computer, those things are put away.

'But when I’m back on it in Ibiza, or like now I’m off to a party in New York for Fashion Week. I’ll be fully dedicated to my work, and there’ll be a telephone call in the evening to check that everything’s OK with the children.'
