'That's me kissing a koala!' Eva Longoria dressed for comfort as she visits zoo after her glamorous tour of Australia

By Alicia Vrajlal

She was in Australia as a beauty ambassador at fashion week, but it was time away from the glitz and glamour that had Eva Longoria smiling on Friday.

The 39-year-old actress spent the sunny day in Sydney at Taronga Zoo getting cosy with some cuddly creatures.

She took to social media to post some snaps of her tourist activities which included feeding a kangaroo and even giving a koala a little kiss.

‘Yep that's me kissing a koala...too cute!!! Thx @tarongaZoo,’ she captioned one shot on her WhoSay account.

The Desperate Housewives star who is on a whirlwind trip down under courtesy of L’Oreal, kept her look casual in a long-sleeved blue sweater and dark pants.

Her brown locks were sleek and straight and she rocked some dark sunglasses.

Later on that afternoon Eva was spotted heading to Sydney airport, wearing the same ensemble.

The fashionista was all smiles as she entered the airport, keeping her sunglasses on and holding a cream handbag.

Eva’s casual outfit finished off with a pair of gold sandals was quite the change from her sophisticated attire a few days earlier in Melbourne.

As an ambassador for L’Oreal Paris, the star attended the company’s cocktail event on Wednesday night alongside fellow ambassador and local beauty, Megan Gale.

With all eyes on the international guest, Eva certainly dressed to impress in a white plunging zip up dress.

Earlier in the week the pint-sized actress looked stunning in a pink Alex Perry dress at celebrity night spot Club 23 as a part of Melbourne Fashion Week’s festivities.

amazing, I went to Taronga Zoo last year and no one was allowed to go near the Koalas, we would have loved to have touched or cuddled one, but it is only allowed in Brisbane, typical money gets you to do anything

If people knew precisely how koalas feed their young, all l their cuteness would instantly dissipate. (Hint : They feed them pre digested food...And not by vomiting it up like canids...)

Wonder if she knows that a huge percentage of the koala population has chlamydia? - mred, San Francisco, United States, 3/21/14, 7:28 AM ========================== I was just thinking this, I laughed so hard.

Barbara, why don't you get off of your soapbox and stop hugging trees long enough to get educated. There are many, many species that are endangered to near extinction in their "natural" habitats. If not for the zoos which are trying their best to get these animals to successfully breed in captivity, there would be no more of them.

She shouldn't be going anywhere near the koala's head (kissing or touching), - that was the first thing I was told when I held a koala, they don't like their heads being touched and can be quite vicious.
