Horse-racing stars join Oxlade-Chamberlain and Navratilova in support of Comic Relief
Horse-racing stars have joined the likes of Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in raising money for Sport Relief.
Jockeys Aidan Coleman, Sam Twiston-Davies and Mattie Batchelor, together with Channel 4 Racing’s Emma Spencer, joined Radio1 Breakfast presenter Nick Grimshaw during his 12-hour fundraising cycle.
Swapping one saddle for another, they were with Grimshaw inside a large transparent box at BBC Broadcasting House in London as he attempted to cycle 1,000 miles in 12 hours.

It's a winner: Racecourses across the country will use special Sport Relief winning posts this weekend
Meanwhile, racecourses up and down the country will this weekend donate £1 from every advance ticket sold to Sport Relief.
The winning lines at each track will also be marked by special Sport Relief finishing posts.
The courses at Lingfield Park, Kelso, Market Rasen, Newbury, Wincanton and Wolverhampton are all taking part.
Bangor-on-Dee are organising a bucket collection on Saturday and Sedgefield will be holding a Sport Relief mile on the course on Sunday.
Handy: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Martina Navratilova are supporting Sport Relief
Rod Street, chief executive of Great British Racing said: ‘We’re delighted that so many of Britain’s courses have rallied to support Sport Relief.
‘The charity makes a real difference to help people living incredibly tough lives, both at home in the UK and across the world. We’re grateful to the courses, jockeys, owners and members of the public who are helping racing to do its bit.’
Elsewhere, Oxlade-Chamberlain and former Wimbledon tennis champion Martina Navratilova are supporting Davina McCall’s takeover of BT’s Speaking Clock.
BT will donate 10p to Sport Relief every time someone dials 1,2,3.
