She's risen to fame as one of America's beloved blonde bombshells since starring on The Girls Next Door.

But Holly Madison decided it was time to reinvent herself and revealed deep red locks as she celebrated the Sprinkles Cupcakes grand opening at the LINQ in Las Vegas on Friday.

The 34-year-old former Playboy model appeared to be inspired by Jessica Rabbit, letting her crimson curls flow past her right shoulder.

On her decision to dye, the Bourbon Burlesque producer told Us Weekly: 'I'm tired of looking the same.

'People judge you on your appearance. It's frustrating when you go about your daily life and people assume that just because you look the same way you did 10 years ago, you're the same.

'I want people to judge me for what I'm like now,' the ex love of Hugh Hefner added.

Indeed, Holly 's life has changed dramatically since her Playmate days.

She currently lives in Las Vegas, celebrated her daughter's first birhday this month, and wed her husband Pasquale Rotella in September 2013.

And according to Holly, Pasquale 'loves' her updated 'do.

'I look better with dark hair -- and way younger!'

Yet, Rainbow was a bit shocked at the transformation.

'She was open-mouthed, and immediately reached out to touch my hair,' Holly confessed.

The mother-of-one was the first to use the Cupcake ATM on Friday, caught snacking on a sugary treat as she posed in front of the pink machine.

Surely, it was an indulgence for Holly, who displayed an impressive physique since welcoming her daughter Rainbow Aurora last March.

Accentuating her trim waist, the TV personality donned a tight blue one-shouldered dress with a pair of peep-toe black and gold sandal heels that coordinated with her chunky bangle.
