But Courteney Cox and her new boyfriend Johnny McDaid went one better on Thursday as they were seen kissing in public while out running errands in Los Angeles.

The 49-year-old actress can be seen puckering up to the Snow Patrol star in the images after driving him around in her Range Rover.

The former Friends star's slim pins were clear for all to see as she wore a pair of tight-fitting dark blue jeans.

Courteney also opted for heeled boots for the drive, and they proved to be particularly useful when it came to her kissing Johnny.

The extra height looked to be a welcome addition to the situation as she leaned up to give him a kiss on the lips.

Johnny also went for a casual look for the day in a black jumper and navy blue jeans combination, while he wore sunglasses to protect his eyes from the Californian sun.

Courteney was seen driving her car while speaking on the phone but they later changed places and he took over behind the wheel.

The kiss occurred when Johnny dropped the brunette beauty off at the studio and she leant in to give him a peck on the lips.

The guitarist then drove Courteney's car away as she headed into the studio while holding a juice drink.

On Monday, the raven-haired star showed off her thick-rimmed glasses at a Los Angeles 'celebration' of New York's trendy Tribeca Film Festival.

They look the same age and almost like brother and sister. Maybe that's the attraction -- like looking into a mirror for both. She never seems to age.
